343i,
In this post I will be talking about some things in Halo 4 that in my opinion need to be improved and/or changed. This post is not meant to be hostile and is not meant to harm anyone. I hope I can get a response back from a real person this time, compared to Bungie. (I received an automated letter from Bungie awhile back as a response to one I sent them.) I know you guys at better at responding to the community.
First, I would like to start off talking about the “Flood” game type. Flood has always been my favorite game type to play on, but my opinion drastically changed when Halo 4 came out. There is no more sitting back and relaxing and having a good time for me. I usually can only bear playing only one flood game every month or so. The reason I say it’s not fun for me anymore is because of the infected person’s thruster pack capabilities. I personally think that they are way too powerful and should be toned down a bit. My average life span went from four minutes in Halo Reach, to about thirty seconds in Halo 4. Other than that, Flood is really enjoyable on Halo 4.
Next, I would like to talk about “CSR”. As a former Halo 3 player I was in awe when this feature was added. One thing that bothered me though was that someone’s CSR can only be viewed in Waypoint. I think it should be visible in Halo 4 game lobbies also. Instead of being intimidated by a player’s rank why can’t teammates be intimidated by their CSR? A few ideas I have in mind are that players can toggle the visibility of their CSR and could transfer their high skill over from Halo 3 to be their Halo 4 CSR. Another thing about the CSR is why does it go down when a player quits a game? Getting a CSR of 50 is really challenging and quitting a laggy/bad connection game can take that away? I think that EXP should be taken from the player’s rank each time they quit.
In all, I think you guys did well on Halo 4. Again I am not trying to be hostile and I am not trying to harm anyone. These are simply my opinions about Halo 4. I am sure that many Halo players can relate to this.
See you in the virtual battlefield,
Kernul
