Ok, so i just watched this video and when it came to the clip where some guys are playing the multiplayer, I noticed they weren’t actually playing on Xbox’s, but what looked like to be PC’s, so maybe Halo 4 is on PC, or is that some system they use for beta testing that look like pc’s? what do you guys think?

Well it’s possible, but I highly doubt it. I don’t think it’s good marketing strategy to announce that you will be selling your game on an entirely different platform when your entire audience is already invested in one. Most companies would have announced all the platforms their game will be played on at the same time.

Yeah, this. Halo 4 won’t be on PC, as people have said, the majority of the fanbase has soley invested in the Xbox. Few fans would have PC’s powerful enough to run it.

Xboxes that can run unsigned code. Sortof like the one ring, but for xboxes.
It’s an emulator, or ‘development environment’. When creating any game, they do it on PC but they need to be able to test the game without printing it on a disk, otherwise it would cost too much. So what the engine does is emulate the Xbox and how it operates so it can be tested.
You could also be looking at a XDK (Xbox Development Kit) which is simply a massive xbox that looks like a PC. It is used to test coding, how the game plays, and to fix bugs on the game quickly by going to the scripts. You can play games on them.
As much as I want Halo 4 on PC because of the many advantages over disadvantages (which mainly consist of Microsoft not selling Xbox’s, which are inferior to PCs and PS3s on a technical standpoint), it won’t be because of Bungie’s bad Halo 2 port and the very negative reviews it got. I doubt they want to take the risk. Shame really.
Halo 4 for pc would be less Xboxs being used and bought and that = less money

Come on surely people know that all games are made on PC’s effectively. They are P’s that are tuned to either the PS3 specs or Xbox Specs. All a console is is a PC that is non upgradable.
