It was brought up recently, but it doesn’t really mean anything. They most likely took the first thing they had.
It’s only a 360 title.
They’re trying to show how powerful the PC is…that isn’t proof.

Yeah, it’s only an advertising ploy, it has nothing to do with a PC version of Halo 4, if there was a PC version, 343i would be the ones to break the news first.
if halo 4 came out on pc, there pretty much would be no reason to own a xbox lol, at least for me.

Ah, but you see my good sir, it would not. If Halo 4 were to hit the pc arena, I would put the odds on Microsoft making Halo 4 only work with Windows 8 via the xbox live hub.

Sorry, tehe man, but this appears to be similar to a demonstration purpose or advertisement only. It’s not the first time Halo footage (or in this case screenshots) was used for a demonstration purpose or advertisement only and not a Halo port. Remember Microsoft’s portable Ultra-Mobile PC concept video?
Plus, there hasn’t been a Halo game on PC since Halo 2 Vista, which didn’t do so well. But I will say that it is possible that the Halo games that came out after Halo 2 could have PC ports, including Halo 4.

Halo is the Xbox’s biggest exclusive, I doubt they’d ever bring it to any other gaming device.
Sorry OP, but Ms tried to sell Halo to Pc gamers, both Halo CE and the Vista exclusive Halo 2, both failed miserably. Halo manages to carry the xbox and now the 360 which in itself is a feat, and will sell many 720s when the time comes, but Halo is never going to be a big Pc IP, the ship’s already sailed.

And yet, people still buy and play Halo: Combat Evolved for the PC today. Anyone who hasn’t bought an Xbox for Halo will not buy an Xbox at this point in time. If they put it on something like Steam, it would not be a loss for them. Judging how Skyrim for the PC is explosively popular on there.

No they didn’t. Halo 1 was popular for the PC, I still see people playing it today. Halo 2, however, was a failure because of it being a bit of a bad port. Not to mention Games For Windows was just starting back then. IIRC, GTA IV sold pretty good on the PC, and that used GfW.
