Halo 4 On Nintendo 3DS

Halo 4 IS the next blockbuster title. But the all-new Nintendo 3DS and it’s engine would create the perfect enviorment for a great FPS. Crappy COD made it to DS. Also, more people own DS’s than Xbox’s (even though I use my 360 more than my 3DS) that it would bring great financial possiblities. Plus, matchmaking and firefight on the go would rock!

This is a good idea, but it wouldn’t be as good in execution. Every shooter I have played on a DS has been incredibly clunky. It’s got to be twin sticks or nothing.

nope. halo is a xbox only title. wont happen

Never going to happen, Halo is a XBOX exclusive (With the exception the Halo “PC”.)

Or mouse and keyboard.

Yes well, that ruined sentence flow, but I assumed everyone knew that twin sticks meant more “easily controllable scheme” than “controller”.

there’s only like 4 million 3DS sold worldwide…

NO.

Lol this will totally work, all Microsoft has to do is buy out Nintendo, fight a bunch of law suits and the US government because they would probably want to break up the monopoly, and throw every bit of already established coding for H4 out the window and start from scratch. No problem, they could still release in 2012.

Well, their was a Halo DS prototype that never got taken on, but I would have to say no on this one myself. Sorry, but Halo is for Xbox and other Microsoft-owned stuff like PC and Windows Phone 7.

Halo? In my DS? Its more likely than you think.

LMAO just no…

<4 <343

LOL.

You’ve gotta be joking me. If anything, it would go to the Vita, because, you know…TWIN ANALOG STICKS.

We’ll never see a Halo on a handheld until Microsoft comes out with one.

ಠ_ಠ

… Halo is an XBox-exclusive title. Unless Microsoft comes out with a handheld portable, Halo will always be a [Microsoft] console exclusive.

He said DS’. He assumes more people will be getting 3DS’, as I have. They should, anyway.

Also, Halo DS has already almost been… 2 times, even.

Halo 3DS? no thanks. I wouldn’t mind a Vita version though, but the chances of that happening are nil, same with the 3DS despite the prototype.

Not gonna happen, but it would be more likely on the 3DS than the Vita.

Why? Because Microsoft have already released games on the Gameboy Advance and Nintendo DS, in collaboration with Nintendo.

These being two Banjo-Kazooie games (released after Rare were acquired by Microsoft),
The re-release of Diddy Kong Racing for the Nintendo DS and Viva Piñata: Pocket Paradise, also for the Nintendo DS.

You could get away with an FPS on the 3DS by adopting a control scheme identical to GoldenEye, using the analogue stick for movement and the 4 face buttons for looking around.

I’m still a bit cautious about the Vita myself. It might have dual analogue sticks, but we don’t yet know if they are actually any good. The PSP’s analogue nub isn’t exactly fantastic to try and use.

that would be amazing!
