Check it out! Halo 4 launch event in Warsaw, Poland. Every one can play Halo 4 on a huge screen! It was awesome!

I don’t know why you would do that. The game only runs at 720p with barely any MSAA. Blowing the image up that large looks awful.

I play Halo 4 on my 60 inch TV and it looks great! No lag nothing.

I said noting about screen processing lag.

As far as Halo looking good on a 60" scree, our definition of good must be different.

I have had the opportunity to play any selection of 360 games on varying screen sizes and resolutions. Including Halo 4. The look atrocious after you go past about 32 inches.

Totally disagree.

I have the latest 55inch Samsung Series 9 smart TV and Halo (or any game for that matter) has never looked better!

OLED will be better, but lets wait a few years!

Are you kidding me? You can play on a giant screen and you complain about graphics?!

Also:

  1. It looks the same as at home, since you’re at a reasonable distance from the display.
  2. You can play on a giant screen, STOP WHINING.

Seriously. -_-

EDIT: by the way, Halo doesn’t even use MSAA, it uses FXAA.

You must not play many PC games.

I’m not whining. I am pointing something out. The 360 is atrociously dated hardware and it really shows. Halo 4 has aliasing everywhere and low resolution textures abound.

If you say to the contrary you cannot be anything but a fanboy.

I play all my games on my auria 55 inch tv and it looks awesome

I play on my 22" and I am satisfied with it.

I know, but you’re missing the point. Somebody posts a topic about a Halo 4 event where you can play Halo 4 on a giant screen in front of an audience. And you respond to it to point out it will look awful. Something nobody cares about.

And I’m a fan. Not a fanboy. I agree with you that Halo 4 has a lot of low resolution textures (one of the things I first noticed after playing it for the first time). I agree with you that is has aliasing, like most 360 games, although it is a lot better than Halo 3 thanks to the use of FXAA. The lighting, however is pretty good in H4. And remember, a game is not just about graphics.

I play it on a 21" 720p screen because in 1080p it looks atrocious. On all for of my other screens it just looks ick.

For note I have three 42" screens. A plasma, LCD, and LED3D. My other screen is a 32".

I will fully admit I am a snob when it comes to resolution and aliasing, however.
