With AC3 scoring 85 metascore and MOH warfighter doing extermely terrible, Halo now has one more AAA title to stomp out and that’s Black Ops II. So it’s safe to say:
Winner Best Xbox Exclusive - Halo 4
Best Action Game? - Halo 4
Best Shooter - Halo 4
Best Multiplayer - Halo 4
Best Developer (if there is an award ) - 343 Industries
Best Story - Halo 4
and… GAME OF THE YEAR - HALO 4
Afterall Reach scored 91 and well… it was Reach, so congrats 343i may your success continue into the future Halo titles.
Alll I can say to all the haters who have been bashing and knocking down halo 4 to it’s knees for the past year, all your complaining is completely worthless now due to these amazing results! Congratulations 343 Industries, I believed in you since the day Halo 4 was announced and your hard work has paid off, Well done!

Borderlands 2 is currently Sitting at 90,and dishonored at 89. Just becuase they dont have “PERFECT SCOREZZZ!” doesn’t mean they are not GOTY material.
I enjoy CoD but this year, It’s Halo’s turn. The only real competition for Halo 4 and GOTY is Mass Effect 3. IMO, If wither wins, I will be satisfied. Just so long as Halo 4 win’s what it deserves.
Borderlands 2 is mad fun. But I don’t think its GOTY material. If anything; Dishonored has a better chance than that. But if Assassin’s Creed 3 only starts getting mediocre reviews, I am very confident Halo 4 will take GOTY. If at the very least, Shooter of the Year for sure.

As much as I loved most of ME3, the whole Backlash over the Ending and the horrible way Bioware initial handled it might bring down their chances a little.

I have to agree with this, Bioware tried to make up for it by releasing an updating ending and free dlc to get the fans attention again but it didn’t go down well, this will slightly decrease the chance of it become GOTY
