Halo 4: ODST with halo 5 beta?

I really enjoyed the halo 3: ODST campaign and firefight, it was a great experience and I met a lot of good people to play with in that game. I feel like 343i should create another ODST game and return The Rookie character back into the equation. Also have a Halo 5 beta so we don’t have to all complain about things that need to be fixed such as glitches or simple things we don’t like such as weapon despawn time.

I loved Halo3: ODST but Halo 2 Anniversary is more plausible (and i would also enjoy it more than Halo 4:ODST)

Halo 2 isnt getting a remake

As for ODST it would be great to see these guys make a return. Felt strange with none of them in Halo 4 but they did need to focus on the Spartan 4’s. Im hopping with Halo 5 that because it will be on the new Xbox it will be massive.

Proof?

For sure it’d be awesome, a campaign that tells a side story that is significant to the main halo 4 campaign. kinda like what this sparton ops story is doing. I like odst’s better than Spartan 4’s anyway. I did enjoy how the halo 3 odst’s worked together to accomplish things too. bring that team back 343i! lol

He doesn’t have any.

Halo 3: ODST is up there as one of my favourite halos and I wish it did get a sequel but so many people disliked ODST and I think it was the game that began people leaving halo and personally I don’t think that they will make a sequel. Even though it would be amazing

You would enjoy playing a game you’ve already played before (possibly several times) more than a brand new experience? :S

lol halo 3 odst didn’t make ppl leave are you kidding, it introduced firefight which was reintroduced into halo reach, the campaign was considered one of the best, if not, the best campaign in halo. people started leaving because Halo reach added gay armor abilities like armor lock and the game shifted more towards a cod type game.

I think if done right, Halo 4: ODST (the sequel to Halo 3: ODST) would be a VERY effective launch game for the next Xbox, with Halo 5 coming out a few months after that.

Actually, there was huge backlash from the community regarding ODST. A four hour campaign for $60 upset a lot of people and serves as the starting point in Halo’s ongoing decline.

It certainly was not considered the best campaign in Halo. It was considered to be the worst. Health packs, short completion time, it was easy, there were fewer enemy types than ever before and the levels are the prime example of copy and paste design. ODST was hated by critics and fans alike.

Firefight was hated as it seemed to be nothing more than a Halofied Horde mode…

ODST was a disaster, and it’s sales numbers reflect that. The only real reason to get ODST was for the map packs and Reach beta, and we all know how Reach turned out, even with a Beta.

Or maybe the ODST guys come back and you play part of their side missions as they have volunteered for the spartan IV program!!

Dont need any cause theres no point. Even if they decided to it be the same as Halo CEA. A HD upgrade and a map pack. 343 is not gonna add another Halo game for online play when they have 4 of them right now that are all online. I feel like alot of players would again make the same mistake they did with Halo CEA thinking that it was gonna get its own multiplayer. Halo CEA was something they wanted to do as a treat for the fans.

I’m not in anyway saying ODST is bad as I said it was one of the best but I’m saying that I heard most of the community hated ODST for some strange reason but if that’s the case I must of heard wrong but I thought that ODST was the first failure
But know that I remember back to reach a lot of people left because they let the new things get to them (even though it will just happen on COD except in a different form)
Edit: just noticed whta you put thanks for backing me up Swathedrumble5

that’s a good idea nerf. completing halo 3 odst did NOT take me 4 hrs lol. I actually went around collected all the terminals, did the vidmaster challenges and all the firefight achievements. Plus halo 3 odst came out with all the maps.

I think what made it interesting was the halo 3 recon armor, in order to get it you had to get all the vidmasters, maybe bring back vidmaster challenges to unlock a specific armor in halo 4?

I also like nerf’s idea that could be cool, but either way i’d enjoy the regular odst’s being just who they are in the sequel if there is one.

Of course, you are speaking from your opinion. Which, anyone can tell you, is worth nothing to 343i, or those that enjoyed H3: ODST. You have no facts to prove anything you say here. Show proof, or SHUT IT.

> Or maybe the ODST guys come back and you play part of their side missions as they have volunteered for the spartan IV program!!

Technically ODSTs are just like spartan IVs:
Soldiers with special training and special armour that’s it that’s what Spartan IVs are and that’s what ODSTs are.

I say make a halo 4 odst, include all the halo 4 maps, vidmaster challenges to unlock a specil armor in halo 4, and a lot of achievements that requires co-op play with friends.
