so if 343 did realease a halo 4:odst what charecters and multiplayer game modes would you like to see in the game plus what do you think the main storyline should tell
I’ve coulda sworn I made a thread about this long time ago (as St3p R1ppin). But yeah, It would be pretty cool to have the game.
Halo 3:ODST was it’s own unique experience, unless they want to put an ODST onto one of requiem’s forests while dodging the coves left and right. I don’t see it happening.

Maybe on requiem somewhere? In new Phoenix after the Didact ashes everybody? I don’t know.
It doesn’t necessarily have be within the Halo 4 period after all Halo 3 odst could technically call Halo 2.5 but that would make sense.
If was really wanting to new ODST which I hope they don’t abandon I think the protagonist should still involve the the same team or at least Buck and the rookie.
Here are my one ideas off the top of my head head for the synopsis. It could take place between Halo 3 and 4 the original team refused to or couldn’t become Spartans and are under the command of ONI. The team believes they are doing something for the greater good but it turns out to be lies and corruption possibly some correlation to the Civil War with the elites.
I really believe besides entertainment rise the ODST’s have their use in the reclaimer trilogy. I really hope 343i puts more emphasis in story in the future.
Another one I just though of recently could just involve Buck and Reach or his time in the UNSC before Halo 4. This is very common idea I’ve heard from many people.
Halo 2: ODST
Have a whole campaign about ODSTs on Installation 05 starting with a revised Delta Halo-ish level and ending with a major battle with the Elites against the Brutes after Tartarus is killed!!! Far off, but oh so awesome!!!
I would hope that the entire team comes back for a sequel. As a sci-fi lover, I would love another team-up with those actors.
And if 343i keeps the teamwork aspect going, I think I would enjoy just about any story they come up with.
I would like to see the ability to choose different characters to play through a campaign though. So one time, you can play through as Rookie or maybe Buck. Then the next time you can play as Dutch or Mickey and follow the story through their prospective. More importantly, if we are playing co-op, I don’t want to a clone of Player 1 running around. Give the second player the ability to play as one of the other ODST.

Buck and his squad were much more real and had more depth than the traditional master chief halo games. And way funnier!
