Halo 4 Now on Games on Demand

For those of you who don’t have Halo 4 yet or you already have H4 and just want a digital copy, H4 has finally made its way onto Games on Demand. Even though it’s a digital copy, unfortunately MS still prices somewhat new games at $59.99 (or 4800 MS points). Which I still think is absurd. But hey, what can you do?

Your buying the full game a few months after release.

It would only be absurd if it was lower.

You don’t get the gaming case or the discs + you can’t sell it. If anything it should be cheaper to download it. It’s not like you’re leaving your Xbox on for 20 min to download the full game, it will take hours and it will take up a lot of your precious HDD space.

If you can get the disc version of the game 30+ bucks cheaper than the digital copy you know something isn’t right.

They’re saving money on manufacturing costs. The price should be lower. 60 bucks is already ridiculous for a game.

there is only one thing to counter that and it’s that there is a smaller risk of breaking

During my 6 - 7 years of playing Xbox 360 I’ve never broken a game. I really don’t know how you would be able to break your games.

I kind of wish there was a way to buy just a license for a GOD kind of game if you already own the physical copy, yanno?

Oh hey, came out before ODST…

And before CE Anniversary…

Is it just a one time download? Like if you accidently delete it somehow, could you re-download it?

You can redownload it from your purchase history if you lose it.

Yes, I would buy that. I’m hoping they will come out with something like that on the next gen. If you have a hard copy and say for ten bucks or less buy the extra coding so you can have it playable from your hard drive would be nice.

The pricing on games on demand is crazy. It is $40 for a copy of Halo 3. I can go buy a used copy for $7-10. Plus its over five years old and they still want that kind of cash for it?
