No, they (the good ones) go on sale after the holidays. Repost here if you see BOPS2 on sale before Christmas. Not saying it’s better but I bet it won’t. It’s a more popular franchise at this point so they know people will pay for the name. Halo hasn’t been like that since Halo 3, 5 years ago…
I wanted to play Halo 4 at launch.
If I wanted to pay less and didn’t mind waiting, I’d have waited until shortly before christmas and found it on sale.

You’ll find Black ops II on sale now too. Easy. It was on sale for like $50 the other day (and bare in mind this is Aussie land where it’s $89 for new to newish games usually so that’s a significant drop)

I saw Halo 4 and BOPS2 at Costco today for 42$. I might buy BOPS2.

With Poo Poo fans like us who do not support their game what do you expect? All anybody here asks for is for Halo 2/3. We all act like children and blame it all on 343i. WE are killing Halo. Here’s hoping that the next gen of Halo fans will be made up of people better than us.

And the Wal-mart I work at still lists Skyrim as $60. It’s just a sales push. Discount new(ish) games in time for people to buy more copies for the holidays.
If it still bothers you, you could always take solace in the fact that you’ve suffered with the rest of us since the beginning. 
It’s Christmas. Games, and products of all kinds, go on sale. This is not a surprise to me at all really.
Also, you have received exactly what the Limited Edition was supposed to include, so I’m not sure what you’re upset about there…

Walmart had XCOM for $25, Tekken Tag 2 for $30, and somethin else on Black Friday, while Best Buy had stuff like Darksiders 2 for $25, Skyrim for $30, and Dishonored for $35.
But yeah, outside of Black Friday, Triple-A games that don’t get an update every year usually don’t go on sale for Christmas, and if a store does sell it on sale, it’s never more than $10 off. Skyrim is still $60 most places, Halo 4 will be $60 for quite a while, Mass Effect 3 I’m guessing is $40ish, and that’s ONLY because that Trilogy Rerelease came out, etc.
Although, the exception to the rule would be Amazon.com- they seem to have new games on sale every now and again. But anywho, if you’re looking for XCOM, check eBay; there’s tons of people selling the Walmart Black Friday copies (has a big blue circle sticker on it.)
