I have heard (or seen) that there is supposed to be a code sent to your e-mail by November 20th to give standard edition halo 4 players the rest of the specializations.
I missed the 20th and need to know if it is still possible to receive this code to get my specializations?
I think it was out of random selection by people who played the game. I didnt get one but I already have all 6. but I think when it said people who played the standard edition it probably meant those who only have 2 or 3 specializations to choose from. so It would be kind of pointless to me.
I have the standard and still haven’t received anything but now, I’m seeing that there is something on December 1st. I’m a little confused on the matter because to me it sounds like they are doing the exact same thing that they did on the 20th?
yea operator really isn’t my thing so I stayed Wetwork level 60 until I get this “magic” code to get the extra specials…ya know in my view they should have just made everyone have all the specializations to the start and the code for the limited edition players had a code for free DLC specializations. That would make a little more sense than to wait for something that should have been in the game from the start.
I feel like nobody actually READ what they had to do to “apply” for this… it wasn’t “get a specialization on November 20.” The deal was to PLAY Halo 4 any time BEFORE/ON November 20th and you would get an email with a code to unlock more specializations. They also announced that email may not reach your account until December 1st. The promotion couldn’t have been that confusing… anyway, that’s why none of you, along with myself, have gotten any new specializations yet.
On the bright side - Standard edition users are supposed to eventually get all specializations, but how 343i is going about giving them to us is pretty much unsure of.
I think it’s kind of a -Yoink- move of them doing this to us because I personally thought standard edition had all the specializations, but they just had to unlock them in order whereas special edition could unlock them in whatever order they wanted, still, I’d rather have the specializations late than not at all.
