halo 4 is supposed to be something new. it is a new trilogy, a new type of soldier, a new game. when halo reach came out, no one thought that everyone would mix spamming grenades and armor lock. i am not saying reach was bad, not by a landslide. i still play it and will continue to until November 5th and yes, i know 4 comes out the 6th. there is a limit to how much someone can abuse something that was meant to be used a real tactic like armor lock.
to me this is what someone should get as their load out
-assault rifle( or what ever primary suits the game type)
-sprint
-an armor ability( the choices should be forerunner vision, camo, jetpack, hologram)
-1 grenade( in pro, snipers, and swat it should be 0)
-magnum
We can’t just take what we know from Reach and apply those changes to Halo 4. We’d have to take into consideration; Maps, how the weapons are used, and just about anything else new.
BR spamming.
…hahahahahahahahahaahaaaa!
Use whatever ability you want, hide in that little corner with your camo, pulse your wall hax vision, or pretend your Boba Fett. It won’t matter.
You’re still going to go negative.

Well, thanks.

343 seems to be making alot of efforts to make the rather easy tactics to be very hard to perform.
For example: If a person is shot while sprinting, they’ll slow down. This makes melee rushing hard to do since this will allow more time for a player to back-peddle away from the rusher and either kill the target, or knock his shields low enough for a melee punch to kill him(depending on distance).
Armor lock’s gone as well. With that said, I think grenades are going to have a smaller blast radius, allowing them to not be as bad since Sprint is now something we can all do.
roflmao i positive just sayin and i agree with the first guy i would depend on maps, but still no armor lock. just want to say and guy above this post thank you for your response i cant wait for no armor lock
Using power weapons as bait (everybody now knows where they are) and spammin’ 'nades.
I don’t think this will be as effective as it would’ve been in Reach though. I think 343 will lengthen the fuse timer on the grenades to make them harder to use (thus increasing the skill gap).
