Halo 4 no visible csr????

i kept this game because of a csr that might comeout. and months later when it finnaly did its not even visable??? what is the point in having a rank if you cant be proud of it and let other players in the lobby know how good you are. this is why halo was one of the most addicting games since ever… i couldnt put halo 2 down. this is what makes halo… well halo. when it comes to matchmaking. csr wont hurt the people that dont want it because if they dont care about it why should it matter if it is even there? but for player like me who thrive off competition and working for something like a visible csr and that brings back the best online times of my childhood. halo 2 and even halo 3 was one of the most loved when it came to matchmaking because of visible csr not to mention the colores around them that changed when you went higher in the ranks and especially the moons and symbols after 42. it cant hurt the game to put it in. i love halo and many things about it but the matchmaking competativeness and working for just that little number makes it that much more fun. i wil be very dissapointed and foreced father from buying future halo games if they dont have whet i love the most about them. as for the account selling because of level 50 CSRs and stuff. when does that matter call of duty has prestiges but if someone tryes to sell those call of duty doesnt stop putting numbers and prstiges in??? i would hate to see halo fail because they dont attend to their longest playing fans and the biggest percentage that wants visible halo CSRs. i know mant people that are very unhappy with the csr not being in the game in the first place. and have already traded their game do to discust in lack of something to strive for. halo 2 addicts know what im talking about… everyone work together and get halo back on track!!! vote for a visible csr!! get through to 343 they will lose many loyal fans and game buyers!!

Don’t worry, Halo 4 is dead. It’s impossible to make a living off of Halo now (except for Ninja). The population is worse than Reach and they still haven’t added a ranking system even after the WHOLE community complained about a proper ranking system like what Halo 3 had. Reach had onyx, gold, silver and it would be good if it wasn’t based 100% on kills and had settings that MLG playlists had. This game needs a visible CSR so we know who’s good and who’s not. The way they made it is really stupid, I’m not going to switch back from my laptop and my xbox just to look up everybodies rank in each lobby, because of this it makes their ranking system pointless.

HaloTracker.org has already been doing a non-visible CSR on their website ever since Reach came out since it didn’t have a proper ranking system like Halo 3.

Now, for all of those people who are about to flame me and say “Halo 3’s ranking system was flawed”, well you’re partially right. Halo 3 had a few flaws with their ranking system but it was still one of the best ways to determine a player’s skill level and it’s way more effective than Halo 4’s and Halo Reach’s competitive ranking system.

When CSR was announced they mentioned that it wasn’t going to be visible.

I’m super disspointed in the no visible CSR. Just give the players that care about rank their own playlist. I could/would play for hours trying to get my rank up. When I mean rank I mean something based off your skill and the outcome of matches. Not just a dedication award. Is it really that difficult to give the competitive players what they want? I know Im not the only one with these feelings. You guys cater to the noob. Let the noobs have their big team with vehicles and jetpacks and loadouts and whatever the hell else they want. I promise there is a huge network of players who would come out for a 1-50. A visible 1-50. How could you guys overlook this? I mean seriously whos idea was it to make it not visible? Dont want to hurt players feelings who cant earn the 50? Also, who cares if people sell accounts? Microsoft is getting their money either way. Just give me a chance for some fair justice. No loadouts, symmetrical maps, weapons on spawn timers. Please.

they mention alot of things… it can be changed and should be.i know way too many people that are only in it for the multiplayer we grew to love in halo 2 and 3. if they dont the halo franchise will diminish slow but steady. Accepting this csr hidden in waypoint is like accepting table scraps.

they shouldnt be worried about people selling accounts. thats microsofts job. and you cant punish the entire community for something a select few participate in. and as for the players who dont want it for whatever reason thats why there is always a seperate playlist. and as for the trash talk about rank and what not… its rated mature… if you cant handle. you probably shouldnt be playing in the first place and also they make a mute button and you could file a complaint like normal people do on any other game…

> When CSR was announced they mentioned that it wasn’t going to be visible.

No, they didn’t. They were purposefully vague when it was announced in to bulletin. It was only after people started asking for clarification that 343i came out and admitted that it wasn’t going to be in-game.

so what they are really telling us is we practiced all week for nothing

if you cant keep the majority of buyers and players happy and give them what they want “ranked, skilled playlists” is in every main halo played online then how are you gonna keep your job and make another game if you cant even do this one right the first time or even fix it when no one is happy?

Its really dumb. How could no one at 343i have stood up and said … “Hey just give them what they want” who honestly would be offended by seeing their rank… They already made a good ranking system by making it hard to boost but its all for nothing if you can’t see it… I think that after a while and after they realize that this isn’t enough they will put it visible in game … but maybe then it will be to late … maybe its too late now

if they care about thier job and anything new they plan on making. theyll change it…

it is visable on the website. how hard is it to look on your pc. are people that lazy? does anyone read updates?

WHY SHOULD WE HAVE TO LOOK ON OUR LAPTOPS… it should be in the game why should i have to go back and forth every single game to see what my rank is… its not that im lazy its that gaming whether its competitive or not it should be fun and i shouldn’t have to run through hoops in order to take advantage of all aspects of the game

yet young grasshopper it serves a purpose… it has a MASSIVE affect on competative community and anyone that has been playing this game for years. people who have been playing halo since day 1… a ranked playlist and a visable csr gives players the incentive to win and something to work for. something to brag about and to be competative. its been that way for most of us long time players. why make everyone play for just fun?? what is this hello kitty island adventure!!! Ranks give people a reason to keep playing and doing good also it lets you see right there and then who your playing and how good they are… when you earn something a metal or a degree you show it off so everyone knows who you are… and what your capable of… you earn it and put it in a filing cabinet. its a part of halo that made it well… halo. and this hidden csr is garbage and shall not be accepted as a main halo game in line with the other 2 online that have been so successful and even stayed that way because of it. you need proof- look at reach it was an upset to most halo players. a disapointment to many. fun at first but no seriousness…no competing nothing to work for nothing for skill

it was all for the mongoose riding around all game people

they need to implement ranks or lose many more players than reach.

I don’t care about visible CSR.

I quickly find out how skilled a player is in-game. Most of the time I’m not even paying attention to the lobby.

thats cool if you dont care … this also means you would not care if you could see your rank… so why should those of us that do care suffer. i have loved and played halo since CE but this lack of caring and a halfway attempt to implementing ranks is almost a slap in the face of competitive gamers. i really wish that someone from 343 would call me so they could actually explain why they did this…but alas that will never happen

so -Yoinking!- like a spoiled child will make 343 listen… great tactic.

I just really hope things change…I shouldn’t have to be comparing the positives of halo 3 to halo 4’s negatives every time I play.

No loadouts, no armor abilities, VISIBLE ranking system, and a 4 shot BR and I’ll be the happiest gamer alive.

Not only is it not visible, you aren’t even matched with lobbies of players with similar CSRs. Unlike Halo 3’s system a rank 27 will not be matched with a lobby between ranks 17-37. It seems to grab a few people of similar rank, and then just dump anyone else it can find into the lobby. Hence, a rank 1 can be matched with a rank 40.

I am really, really bad at this game and would still like the rankings to be visible.

At some point I’m going to end up leaving CSR 1 and I’ll be much happier with that than the pretty pointless rankings I’m accumulating right now.

Also, I’d much rather people know how bad I am pre game than thinking “level 40, must be competent”

I’m not competent or even close, yet I’m given a level that makes it sound like I might have a clue. It’s my first console game in 20 years, I’ve not used a controller before, yeah, I suck… people deserve to know what they’re getting on their team.

I’d love a system that shows when I’ve truly overtaken the second worst player in the game!
