I pick the BR purely because of the fact that it was what I grew up with in Halo games. I remember having so much fun using it in custom games, multiplayer, as well as campaign. However, I’ll let my modesty get the best of me when I say that I’ll go with whichever is more efficent.

I can’t wait to use the BR.
I’ve always liked the BR, and no doubt will use it in H4. but the thing is, after so many games of Reach, the DMR has grown on me.
Plus with fire power you can use both. So what’s the problem.
If a rivalry were to form, it would be pretty stupid.

Depends on the map and if the two are balanced well enough for both of them to be a viable option.
Plus, there is the fact that they do not belong in the same catagory of weapons: BRs are meant for close and medium, while the DMR is a long range specialist.
I’ll be using both. But my choice is actually the DMR over the BR for a handful of reasons…

Well, I don’t know if either of you ever played WoW, but let me make an example if you haven’t…
In WoW, you start at level 1 and (More now, but this was the max at the time of this happening) level all the way up to level 80. In ONE OF THE MOST POPULATED CITES there was a TWO HOUR ARGUMENT over which of 3 rings was the best.
Which one of 3 LEVEL 20 RINGS WAS THE BEST…FOR TWO HOURS ON ONE OF THE MOST POPULAR CHAT CHANNELS FOR TRADING…
That is what I’m scared of happening to Halo. I don’t want Halo’s “rivalry-loving” fans to degrade into that…ever.
