So seing Halo 4 now just makes sad, the population is so low it is sometimes not even playable because the population is too low. Still I think WE can make Halo 4 more playable by reducing the amount of playlists.
I already made a post about Team Objective but I changed my mind about something and I would like to share my new playlists idea for Halo 4.
So currently we have the following playlists:
-Big Team Battle
-Team Slayer
-Ricochet
-SWAT
-Capture the Flag
-Oddball (rotational playlist)
-Rumble Pit
-Grifball
-Team Throwdown
-Flood
-Team Snipers
-Team Doubles
-Team Action Sack
Personally I think this are too many playlists for the population because the population is simply too low.
I know there are people for every playlist that do not want 343 to change this but I think 343 could atleast change something in the playlist.
Personally I would like them to do the following:

Bring back Team Objective and add Ricochet in Team Objective. Team Objective should include the following modes: Oddball, KOTH, Extraction and Ricochet. CTF can stay it’s own because it has a decent population.

Add Grifball into Team Action Sack. I know this will upset the grifball community but girfball’s population is simply too low and I think if 343 could give grifball a static spot in the third slot in Action Sack they can still play enought Grifball.
So why do I want 343 to do this? Well, I want them to bring the population closer together, because searching times are simply too long sometimes and connections are sometimes very bad too. If they reduce the amount of playlists, the population will be more closer to each other and this will decrease the searching times and will create better matches with better gameplay because there is a bigger chance of getting a good host and connection.
Please 343 consider this!

I really think the playlists have gone downhill even more as time passes
mostly because they have ditched the core playlists and have made loads of other ones, and this rotation playlist, makes no sense at all to me

I do enjoy playing Oddball a lot probably my new favorite but I think it would have worked better if they brought Team Objective back with oddball, KOTH and extraction and added race and rocket race in Team actionsack. I think that would have been so much better.

yeah that sounds good, even so I am curious to why gametypes like oddball and king of the hill have become rotation playlists, yet team snipers remains in its own playlist, why not make that a rotation?

Rocket Race was easily one of my favorite game types. I think it would be worth trying that 343 creates racing playlists and specially crafted racing maps. I would be interested to see the reception.
