All right I’m all for clans and parties and joining up with friend on xbox live and playing a couple rounds in matchmaking. But I really think halo 4 should include some playlists where parties are not allowed. Too many times have I played a competetive playlist in which I’m matched with a party of players on the opposing team will I’m stuck with a team of randomly matched players and lose.
In fact if you look at statistics I’m positive parties of players who often play together win more often than just a randomly matched team. That’s great! Theres nothing like winning some games with your friends and working as a team, but I think we need to consider that not all players like to play in a party with their friends all the time.
A competetive playlist that does not allow parties would definetely be interesting it would be more challenging and I think it would be more fair to those who are not in parties. And for those who want to play with their friends there will be plenty of playlists to allow that also.
All I propose is a few playlists that do not allow parties.
The only gametype that I think should be like this is lone wolves, like from halo 3. Theres no point in any team-based games if you can’t actually play with a team IMO
FFA is all I can see having teams disabled. MAYBE you could get lucky and get a team-singles playlist, with all the best gametypes in it to choose from, but I feel that might be pushing it a bit.
