HALO 4 new game type

4v4 Elimination, each individual player has 10 lives.
This is a really good game type for many reasons:
-If you’re skilled enough your able to carry a team.
-If you’re doing bad your not throwing the game for everyone else.
-Emphasizes on teamwork for survivability.
That’s the basic idea, obviously there are many other things we can build off of this as per example:
-1 life rewarded for getting a killing spree/frenzy/killjoy/Extermination?
-An objective like oddball forcing the players into combat to prevent camping?

Can you guys come up with anything more specific using this basic idea of Elimination?

I like the idea. 10 lives per person person, making the final score to win set as 40. What i don’t like is the extra life for killing sprees, and the others. I think there shouldn’t be extra lives or anything like that. if you earn three kills you get an over-shield, six kills you get active camofluage.

Overall i like the elimination idea, it proves how much you can truly survive. I also like this as a ffa idea. last man standing alive.

I like the idea. It promotes actual teamwork. Though I think like a12, that if you sprees and frenzies, than you get the powerups. A cool idea.

VampireBall:

Everyone starts out with health that depleats until they die. The Oddball is the only way to recharge your health. You only get one life per round. Whoever survives the longest wins the round, etc etc.

I love this idea, it would be really fun to play with friends
“Someone run out there and grab those rockets!”
“Michael, you do it, you’ve got 6 lives still!”
“Hell no, why doesn’t Hector do it? He’s down to his last life, so if he fails he’ll be out of our way!”

Anyway, I had another idea that might go nicely with this one.
So picture this: every time you respawn, you get a little bit more powerful.
Maybe you get a pistol secondary after your first death, and then a dmr/br primary after your second death, and then a shotgun secondary, and then an overshield, etc, etc.
The best player would still win because if they find themselves being overpowered by their defeated enemies, they’d eventually respawn on equal footing with them, and then kick their butts again.
This would make games more close and more interesting too, I think.
One last thing: it wouldn’t go too far. It would be stupid if you spawned with rockets, 4x overshields, invisibility, and super speed on your last life.
