I have a few questions about the Prometheans in Halo 4. 1.Why are do they have exoskelotens if their A.I.s? 2.Cortana said they are defence A.I.s, what are they defending? 3. How are there weapons in mint condition?

Do you mean this by a physical form? They are defensive AI, they need to be on the battlefield with weapons. They need to have a form to control.

They are quite possibly bio-organic, as they do disintegrate after being killed, to avoid infection by Flood. Powered-exoskeleton to absorb more damage as they are the grounds-keepers.

Requiem, as it is a Forerunner Shield World/possible Dyson Sphere. They are the main bots sent down to clean the ground up. Crawlers are their dogs, they are the shepherd.

That planet hasn’t been touched by any life until now. It’s all plausible for that to have been a last-resort for the Forerunner’s and even some other beings. Master Chief landed, after Cortana sent out a distress beacon. Infinity snagged it… and thus, Halo 4.
