I think in halo 4 there should be a playlist type thing for joining peoples custom games, it would be a lot of fun. You could pick what kind of custom game you are looking for like infection, slayer, etc… but idk i thought this would be a pretty cool idea. Also if you didnt want anyone to join your session you could always put it on invite only.
Someone mentioned this for reach before the release and it’s just a bad idea unless you’re able to look through the matches because what if someones away or it’s incredibly laggy orr idk the game is just horrible? It would be annoying quitting and rejoining just to find a good match.
It would be cool if they had a separate search option from matchmaking for customs that would bring up a list of custom games that met your search criteria, and you could see the descriptions that people put up for their games (e.g. “hi!! new players only, prison/jail rulez, you grief you’re kicked!!”) and the type of people they wanted to play with, like low or high level restrictions, lag restrictions and such.

Yeah it sounds cool, especially for me cause I have no friends, but I don’t really see it happening. It seems like it would be a hard thing to set up maybe even impossible
I don’t think that there’s a logical reason to dislike this idea, other than time distribution on other game mechanics. Games are a form of entertainment, and some gain more entertainment off of certain playlists. Having them easily accessible to the masses would make for a better game, would it not?
Personally though, I say -Yoink- dat’ -Yoink- -Yoink-. I loved how exclusive Infection was back in the H3 days. I mean, there’d be times where I’d schedule a weekend just to play it.
Think of it this way, if you went to a concert everyday, would it be as fun if you were to only go once in a blue moon?

Have you try’d Metal Gear Online for PS3? they have that exact system, matchmaking and a separate custom game search list thing going on
