Should they keep the robot arm from halo reach ?
Should they add a flood arm so when you press B or what ever your melée button is you use that arm ? The arm would not have a diff melée damage from other arms.
It would be like the arm from halo reach.
Other armor ideas ?

Robot arm I would like to see again but on any arm this time without having to have a special chest with it.
This is a sad poll. If I want new armor I also have to vote for a flood arm? No thanks.
Flood arm wouldn’t seem canon or realistic. There should also be more than just one or two designs for each special body part to choose from.

The gap between Reach and Halo 4 is only 4.5 years, right? And with the war going on, who has time to “upgrade” peoples prosthetics? I say they should keep the robot arms, but not all Terminator and small looking. Give em JAX arms. Other than that, paint em the same color as your primary or secondary armor. No need to beat people over the head with “Hey look, I have a robot arm! Guess how I lost it! Go ahead, guess!”

A good spartan wouldn’t loose his/her arm. Just saying…

But surely with a war going on they would be trying to upgrade and advance more quickly?

Youre right. And I’m with you on that “Covenant were defeated” bit. Some say we had a “truce”, but humanity kicked their scaly butts to the end! Booya!
More plating on the arm is all I’m saying. No missiles or flamethrower attachments, yet.
