Halo 4 needs to Be as epic as this

Easily the best lines of the series

Watching this gives me chills, halo 3 was so brilliant.
Halo 4 i hope you are as epic as Halo 3 was

I hope it really is as epic or more epic than H3…

I hope the gameplay is just as epic/more epic as H2, and the story is just as epic/more epic as H3. haha

Agreed, that was an epic game.

Halo 3 was an okay game IMO.

I really fail to believe it when people dismiss Halo 3 as being mediocre. That game created such an emotional impact, beyond what and other media ever has. Only films rival the emotion, and the scale that game had. Halo 4 is going to have a hard time living up to it, but have faith.

Think like this:

343 is John
The fans are Cortana

343 have luck on their side.

Halo 3, Halo 3: ODST and Halo: Reach have all had their fair shares of dramatic lines that rival that of a movie’s because of how emotional they are.

Halo 3:

Lord Terrance Hood: “Hard to believe he’s dead…”
Thel Vadam: “Were it so easy…”

Halo 3: ODST:

Buck: “What about you? What about us?”
Captain Dare “Win this war… then ask me that again.”

Halo: Reach

Kat: “You didn’t answer my question…”
Carter: “You want to know if we’re losing?”
Kat: “I know we’re losing… I want to know if we’ve lost…”

These are just samples from three games that can be compared as being superior to some of the big blockbuster films. Lines like these hold on to me forever.

No this!

I agree 100%. One thing that really sets the Halo franchise apart from other games is the emotional impact it has on the players while also keeping that emotional impact new and fresh from game to game without taking the CoD route and killing off your main character every time you blink in every game.

Memorable lines and characters that you get attached to (Cortana anyone?) really make a difference, especially when put on top of a deep and expansive lore.

I just hope Halo 4 has the most spectacular campaign Halo and the gaming industry has ever seen.

here a nice topic too, vote there too please

I nearly cry every time I watch that cutscene…

That scene isn’t really that intense, the next scene where Kat dies is, but Reach wasn’t as epic as Halo 3, i Don’t know how to explain lol but i don’t get the same vibe that Halo 3 delivers.
