Variety in multiplayer models. I am sick of Spartans and elites. we need other character models for multiplayer. each halo added a new feature and this one fits the bill. to balance it out make a separate playlist for other non shielded characters like brutes, hunters, jackals, marines etc.

Flood firefight. for crying out loud why isn’t this in yet? it’s been demanded by the fan base ever since firefight was introduced! make it happen 343

Bots for offline multiplayer. i have been wanting this ever since halo 2 was announced. i don’t know why they aren’t part of regular multiplayer yet. if battlefront can pull this than i don’t see why halo cant. heck in gears of war the AI can be tougher than human players! (P.s. not everyone likes to verse human players)

Firefight compatible forge. i speak for everyone right now…also better firefight! i like gears of war 3’s type horde mode with unlocks to survive the waves of enemies. makes survival much more rewarding.

Not into Call of duty, actually i hate it, but killstreaks could fit with halo lore if done right. For example pelican drop offs, Longsword bomb runs, deploy able turrets. no stupid UAV,attack helicopters, nukes.

Destructible environments. I was sketchy with this until BF3. gotta admit it made the game much more strategical and fun. It would be a great addition against campers.

Better Animated assassinations. I thought the way battlefield did it was perfect. it made using a knife very rewarding to actually look into the enemy’s eyes while putting i blade through his throat in first person view.

More gore. or at least if i shoot someone in the head their visor smashes or if i do a move with an energy sword i want to see some limbs come off!

last but not least bigger battles and head to head playlists! really miss halo 2’s head to head and would love 32 player playlists!

You call UAVs ,attack helicopters, nukes stupid, but Longsword bomb runs are totally okay?
Please 343 dont listen to this community. No COD elements should ever, and I mean ever be put into Halo.

YES! If 343 did these idea, it would be the best game ever!
I believe Halo has done enough copying of other games, in fact the original Fan base that has been with Halo since the very start of its competitive career have all but abandoned the Title due to creators straying from its fundamental gameplay that made it unique in the first place.
Kill streaks have no place in Halo, just like recoil.
As for why the Flood havent been implemented into firefight, did you ever play Halo CE or Halo 2? If you did then surely you know what happens when a creature with no Energy shield is touched but the flood spores right? So what do you think would happen to the ODST of the first Firefight… Probably the same thing.
Why not in Reach? The Flood hadnt been unleashed on Halo(Installation 04) so it would have no reason to be on a planet like reach.
Bots for Offline Multiplayer, I understand you want a more Black ops or Unreal Tournament type of Bot and not a Firefight type but…
If you recall the AI in Halo isnt exactly the smartest… Like driving you off a cliff or sniping you during an assasination.
The AI in Black ops wasnt smart or adaptable so it just wouldnt function right. For starters it would need to understand the concept of strafing and jumping at the last second or crouch jumping. While it can be done the AI would have alot of problems navigating forged maps resulting in something like what happens in Timesplitters where they perpetually jump off the same cliff missing just barely and running down the same halls and using the same pattern of movements every game. It just wouldnt work.
32 Player games have a major effect on the servers meaning everyone but the host would Lag horribly, why didnt it in Halo2? Because Halo2 map detail was drastically less meaning the servers and systems didnt have to strain as much to keep up, now we are talking about todays games with an enormous amount of data in just one character model. I doubt 32 player games will make a return to put it simply.
I suppose Forerunners might be playable in multiplayer in H4 but unlikely since you must bare in mind that Spartans and Elites are the only characters with shields.

These three I found myself to disagree with. First of all, killstreaks may seem like a cool idea to have weapons drop and Longswords flying over you. But that would break the delicate balance of the Halo sandbox. Halo is fundamentally made to be incompatible with killstreak rewards. In fact, my opinion for the rewards in general is that it doesn’t make sense rewarding players who get kills with more kills. Sure, you may have earned the first batch of kills, but you don’t ahve to work for the second. Giving killstreak rewards also means that if a team is doing bad at the beginning, they have much harder time turning the game to their advantage, thus causing the first half of the game decide who is going to win.
Destructible enviroments are cool. There have been very few in Halo games. Basically only thing I remember is the falling stalagmites on Waterworks in Halo 2. That kind of controlled destructability adds something to gameplay of Halo. It’s part of what can be dubbed dynamic map design like the falling bridge and openable gate on Zanzibar/Last Resort, openable teleporters on Relic and so on. But these maps are BTB maps, that’s not coincidence. What comes to default 4v4 maps, destructability isn’t appropriate for those.
And what comes to the Battlefield 3 level of destruction, definitely not in anywhere except possibly campaign. Generally that kind of destruction would break the balance of multiplayer maps. Even in BTB this is limited, you wouldn’t want your whole base getting destroyed by the enemy tank, would you?
Finally, the gore. Halo doesn’t need gore. Sure, I have nothing against a bit more blood spilling when you melee or shoot someone, I find the Halo CE amount of gore perfect. But limbs falling of when getting hit by energy swords? Really? That’s not like Halo, at all. That kind of gore adds nothing but realism to the game, and we don’t want Halo to be perfectly realistic. Thereby it’s pointless. It’d only satisfies the children who think that they’re mature when they play a game with limbs falling off, or other people who get some kind of sadistic pleasure from seeing that. But what comes to cracking visors, I’d be fine with that, it adds a bit of visual detail without being overly gory.

yes the helicopters that camp in the sky are dumb. a simple fly by bombing run would fit halo more.

Most of these are alright and some are actually pretty great ideas. But, oh my god, killstreaks should NEVER, ever be implemented into Halo. I would consider the inclusion of that feature worse than AAs, that’s how low I think of killstreaks. COD elements should stay as far away from Halo as possible.

All except 10 and 7. You are aware that little kids play Halo right? Call of Duty elements in Halo? Both of these will cause lawsuites. I agree with everything else!
Killstreaks are a COD thing, and a way of getting the rich richer. Also gore was unreasonable in COD Black Ops.
