Halo 4 has to many playslists at the moment and because of the low population this is a problem. That’s why 343 needs to add some playlists together and I think the first GOOD step is to bring back Team Objective and add all the Objective gametypes in Team Objective. This decrease the Search time and will improve Matchmaking a lot.
Team Objective should include the following gamemodes:
-Capture the Flag
-King of the Hill
-Oddball
-Extraction
-Ricochet
If they will add Team Objective back that means CTF and Ricochet need to be gone. Halo always used to have Team Objective but Halo 4 doesn’t anymore and has seperate playlists for each objective gametype. Combining these gametypes (CTF ,Ricochet) and adding all the other objective modes into this playlists will improve the matchmaking experience by bringing the population closer together. I know some people won’t like it when 343 will remove CTF and Ricochet, but this MUST happen to improve Matchmaking. I’m a big CTF fan and even I want this to happen because I want Halo 4 to become better and I want Halo Xbox One to become better.

We need a playlist that played all the lore gimmicky yet fun playlists ilke team regicide …
Oh wait, we already had 1… It was team objective before it got replaced by the failure that was big team skirmish…
I voted yes, but I know it won’t be successful. The community that is left just wants to play slayer.

I’m sorry but I just wanted to explain something to the NO voters at the beginning. I’m trying to safe whats left from halo 4.
The only thing that would happen by merging all the playlists would be people complaining about a X gametypes showing/being voted for up too much/too little.
Sure, it’d be nice to have them all consolidated to one playlist, but it wouldn’t change anything.

It would reduces the playlist count and would add new gamemodes in matchmaking (oddball, KOTH and Extraction)
They already did this once. The population was fairly low and people complained that they couldn’t play the game modes they wanted to play. So they were split again.
Pretty much what Phil had said. Personally, I’m in favor of it, but my concern is the population. I’m enjoying objectives in BTB, but TO was indeed fun.

People would quit or complain just because they couldn’t ALWAYS play ctf/richochet/etc.
So you would have less playlists, and even less players than before.
I’m all for this but many people don’t want to play other game types .
They only want to play 1
That’s why H4 has 13 playlists most of them under 300 people when off peek hours…

They still should consider bringing Team Objective back because I love playing Oddball, I love playing KOTH and since Oddball is now in the rotational playlist I really enjoy it, and maybe im enjoying it because I cant play it as much as I would like too but still Team Objective should return
When you look at the playlists now around the 800 people are playing Oddball and this is pretty much when you look at the 15k population…
It feels so sad to see Halo 4 with this low population…
