Halo 4 needs one more thing...WILDLIFE

Halo 4 needs wildlife. In ODST the dead animals on the zoo were cool, and in Halo 3 on Guardian I really liked those flying things. And in Halo reach the Moa were beasts! Literally. Just being able to jump on them or punch them was fun. Sorry Moa lovers but you can’t say shooting them wasn’t enjoyable. It just added more sandbox and it really showed how just adding little things like Moa did a lot. I liked how in the E3 demo Halo 4 had that flying stingray thing in the background. Maybe this means more wildlife. That would top off Halo 4 for me!

Nah, they’re saving the wildlife for “Halo: Snap!”, a spinoff of Pokemon Snap.

Imagine…crawling through the jungle in a pimped out Safari Warthog, taking pictures of random animals to fight the Covenant in the field of competitive photographic biology.

There should be a variety of wildlife, especially in that jungle.

The things people ask for these days … smh

This is an FPS shooter not African lion safari: Chronicles of master chief and friends LOL

Its a shield world…where they kept MANY animals and species. Why the hell shouldn’t there be a ton of alien species?,if there isn’t ill be very dissapointed. So far we’ve seen a flying dolphin.

how? the AI guarding the planet would see it as a threat and kill it.

Not at all true.

Well if you look closely in the Campaign demo, you can see some kind of giant flying stingray thingy. That’s a start I guess.

But wildlife is like the next step in in-game experiences. Wildlife should just be part of the levels like those pots and houses. Whats a game with no look and feel? Wildlife just gets you in the game more.

I do kind of agree with this, wildlife makes games feel more realistic but it’s not really necessary to add them but it would be a cool little side dish to the campaign to see some stuff flying in the air or running away from you or something else on the ground just for effect really.

What’s more important though? Flying dolphins or finalizing a game and making sure everything is balanced out. Microsoft won’t extend the release date for 343 just so they can add some gorilla’s.

In the E3 demo you can see wildlife. There is a floating manta ray jellyfish thing that flies by at one point.

Found a screen:

Look in upper right you can see what I’m talking about.

I believe your forgetting the majestic creature that was the Moa!

I can’t agree more! Adding wildlife to multiplayer would make the game so much more enjoyable. Even if they are out of the map or just flying around, it’d still be cool.

On topic, I don’t think wildlife are a necessity. There will be plenty of shiny things for me to look at without trying to track down a flying stingray. It would be interesting, but not at all something worth wasting resources on.

Seriously though, if 343 made Halo: Snap!, I would buy it day one. Hinty hint, 343.
