i wanted to play some halo 4 offline today, but guess what? there’s literally nothing offered to offline users. sure there’s campaign and forge. both are great, but you can only do those so much until you want to do something else.
i know that it’s not going to happen, but i’ll say it anyways as if it matters… bring back firefight! it’s a ton of fun customizing everything and experimenting with kills, enemies and so forth.
i also don’t understand how spartan ops is a replacement of firefight when spartan ops requires you to be gold membership, must play it via live; not offline, no theater mode, and no customization.
spartan ops is more of a step down for me if we’re comparing it to firefight. a lot of people are fortunate enough to buy the game, but asking for gold membership and have internet access at home is ridiculous. though it’s pretty common to have internet at home, that’s not the case for everybody.
just bring all the new enemies, weapons, custom armor to reach and i’ll play reach over halo 4. reach had more offline features that added replayability value.
