Halo 4 needs more 'interactive' environments.

The title is pretty self explanatory really. In Halo 2 on a few of the maps, there were some random elements that you could interact with. My favourite would be the the ability to shoot down stalactites from the top of Waterworks.

They’re trivial, but a hell of a lot of fun. Trying to shoot them off while someone is crossing the bridge was awesome… Even more so if you got a kill.

What do you think? Would you like to see more ‘interactive’ environments in Halo 4 or should they stay largely static like in Reach?

They should have a couple maps with extreme interactivity to sate our hunger.

Like Battlefield? it would be cool but i don’t know if Halo is right for it but then again it could work.

Not on that scale, of course. Even things like opening doors and walls were largely absent from Reach’s maps.

Sound cool, but the dmr/br shouldn’t be able to shoot down major things.

When I think of interactive maps I remember THIS http://youtu.be/5VG1QFjwExM?hd=1&t=4m17s

EDIT: Corrected the tube link!

Yes Reach did have a serious lack of buttons to press or things to break. I don’t even think there are any breakable windows in the on disc maps.

That said, if they do add more buttons and breakables, I hope we can have some in forge. Being able to place breakable windows would be awesome, but I see how they could be abused. (placing to many in one place and breaking the game)

But it would be incredibly awesome if you could say: place a piece, and then that is like a first position then you move it and set it as a second position. Pressing a button (which would be linked to the object by channels like a teleporter) would make the object move between the 2 positions. That would make me ecstatic.
