Halo: Reach, I hate the color customization. Why? It is just a primary color and a secondary. We need more ways to customize our armor’s color. We should be able to have seperate color categories for helmets, chest, left shoulder, right shoulder, and so forth. Who agrees? (p.s. first time here)
I think we need armor detail back and a new damage option (Different levels of damage on armor)
I think they need more colors for forge walls over armor… im so tired of looking at grey.
> I think they need more colors for forge walls over armor… im so tired of looking at grey.
That too!
I’m also a bit tired of having both primary and secondary armor color replaced with the color of whatever team you happen to be playing on. Why not just replace the primary color and leave secondary as it is?
I mean, there’s really NO problem at all to distinguish team mates and opponents. There are more than enough ways that tell you who’s who besides color: service tags above team mates, reticle turning red when looking at opponents, the reticle/view slowing down and “drifing” towards opponents.
Halo really has been spoiling its players when it comes to telling friend and foe apart. There are lots of games where it’s much harder to spot who’s who.
I’d like to see a toggle option so that the opposing teams can keep their base colours but gain a couple rings around their legs and arms that indicate what colour team they represent
im all for more customization in colors / aesthetics. just make sure the game works properly before you work on aesthetics please 343

\That would make the game terribly unbalenced for newer players.
Armor customization is cool and all, but the actual gameplay mechanics of H4 are MUCH more important. I have no problem with a game developer wanting to provide players with the ability to customize their characters, but gameplay should always have the priority.

I meant visable Battle damage
ooooo that would be cool

Amen.
Don’t go for the typical bright cartoony Halo color palette also. Anyone remember the Reach Beta colors? Where black was BLACK? And Dark red was DARK RED? And together that looked awesome?? Not anymore in Reach.
I wanna look like a real -Yoink!- in H4.
Lets just cut the BS already…
Give us a color mixer 343i! And bring BACK REAL BLACK and Crimson colors.

Yeah, just like halo 3 with the secondary colors kept. That was nice.

Know what I missed in the beta? That and having shoulders being secondary colors. I miss my cqc black shoulders!
