That was the trailer they used to introduce the game, it isn’t the final trailer for the game.
Personally, I think Halo 4 needs a trailer like this

Tho instead of the suit being put on him, him gearing up with ammo and weapons, and stepping into a fully loaded warthog.
Final cutscene was better, IMO.

They need a trailer like the Defiant map pack trailer.
I still am unable to comprehend how a trailer for a map pack gets me more excited than all the other Halo trailers. Probably a combination of great camerawork, scripting all the most epic multiplayer tricks into one video, and the music (Sacred Icon Suite 2. If Neil Davidge can best that, he will be a legend).
Of course, what Halo should really be aiming for is trailers of CoD standard. Since MW2, every single CoD trailer has been absolutely bombastic and action-packed. All style and no substance? Maybe, but it disturbs me that Halo has not yet produced a trailer more exciting than CoD’s.
Except maybe the Defiant map pack trailer.

Funny story behind that video.
I had never seen anything at all about it on Youtube. Yeah I knew a Halo 2 was coming out but I couldn’t find anything about it.
2004 I was playing around on my computer and I thought it would be funny to bang my head on the key board and press enter. First video that popped up was some code for the Halo 2 trailer. Then I watched it and thought it was the most awesome thing ever.
I remember watching this trailer when it was released - that’s probably the most excited I have ever been for any game - ever.
