So when you play Halo, most of the time you’re going to be on your competitive edge because you care a lot about your K/D, me being one of those people. Now I want to play the game just for fun, and although I do have a lot of fun I can never play it in a relaxed manner because I worry so much about my stats.
So what we need is relaxation, À la Halo 3’s Social slayer.
Basically it’s a mashup of the really fun gametypes, including slayer, where stats are not recorded. K/D doesn’t change, BPR, etc. It would be really nice to lay back and have some serious fun, and then when I want to feel competitive hop on the official playlists.
Now we want people to flock to this playlist to take a break, so ranking up can be made a lot slower to get people to stick to the official playlists.
We need this because honestly I can’t play without sweat rolling down my arms (yes, this has happened to me).
It would be nice to be able to turn it off. Stats are a terrible thing for players who just want to have fun, yet they are surrounded by a community of e-peen trolls.
I ignore K/D in Halo 4 because it changes based on what you play. Oddball kills k/d. Id rather not have stats at all and why i dont support true skill ranks. The anger that HAlo 2 and 3 had around them just didnt need to be there. I want some fun playlists. Gsmetypes that make no sence. BTB on Adrift with Binary Rifles

you know you could just not care about your stats and not let virtual gaming get to you so bad that you sweat and stress urself over a video game
go play customs if u want that playlists or you know stop caring about your stats like they are gameplay
What’s to get stressed about, it is a video game, not only that but it is a game in a game, after the Red and Blue Spartans are done with the training simulator they all chill in the barracks and haze the annoying Spartans who think it is cool to cammo-camp with Boltshots.
This is a good idea
il admit, i get a little carried away with my stats, however, in my defense, it gives me motivation and a goal to achieve when i play
but a playlist where none of it would be recorded? YES! that would be pretty cool

EVERYONE ELSE cares about your stats though. If you make a post on the forums people will inevitably say "LOLOL U SUCK BRO, MY 1.5 K/D BEATS YOUR 1.4 K/D.

Well I see your point in it only being a video game, but I really love competitive Halo.

Stop caring about your overall K/D ratio. Its meaningless, especially if you are playing all of the game types. I dont know what mine is and could care less. I have went for achievements/challenges that destroyed my K/D ratio as I am sure all of us have. I have done stupid things like trying to stick people with grenades the whole game. My k/d ratio does not tell you anything about how good or bad I am at the game for this reason.
