If we all know the history behind the release of Halo 4 back on the Xbox 360, the graphics on this game, specifically the textures, got a massive compression for that generation console being so late in the life cycle due to the quality of the assets being so much higher but the console could not handle it at the time so they had to really compress the texture quality down alot, if 343 would have just waited one more year for the game to come out on the Xbox One. Since then now all we have now is the graphics are of very compressed quality in the MCC. Since that Hardware limitation is no longer an issue for the MCC today on the Xbox One/S/X and Series Consoles plus PC, I think the FPS is being far too generous uncapped and should be more demanding graphically speaking. When the Halo 4 Mod Tools comes out in the near future, I hope one of the items 343 will do is update all the assets in game with the uncompressed textures they had in the internal archives for Halo 4 so it will look how it should be, In the MCC settings, a new Graphics Quality setting should be added to Halo 4 only that is higher than the “High” setting for Halo 4. Specifically, things like the computer panels in game on the first mission are a pixelated mess (but its throughout the whole campaign). I hope this will get addressed at some point if 343 continues to work on the MCC.
