so the needlers been buffed to a ORDANANCE wepon -_-
Good, it was nigh on useless in Reach.
I don’t think the needler was buffed, it was just determined to be unsuitable as a loadout weapon, but 343 still wanted to keep it a part of Infinity Slayer. The only way a weapon can be obtained in Infinity Slayer is through Ordnance Drops.
dont from wut i heard tho in reach it only could drop 1 guy with a full clip

Since the Needler is an Ordnance weapon, hopefully it’s been buffed. The other Ordnance are probably pack a much more powerful punch.

Which is what i don’t understand; it was strong in CE,It was stronger in halo 2, so what is going on?
as long as the needler can be dodged by strafing sideways still, I dont care how powerful it is.
with all due respect, needler has always been a power automatic weapon. it would drop guys like no tomorrow. especially in H3. but the fact that it was less powerful in halo reach made it not a power weapon. but i am glad needler is an ordnance, because it was very much a power weapon. i cant even begin to say how much that thing pissed me off in any halo game. even when i used it i thought how powerful it was is simply obscene. it doesnt need a buff! if anything it needs a nerf!

This.
It was such a steady stream in CE. In newer Halo games, it’s quite difficult to avoid despite the reduced spread.

Wat. There’s a reason it’s called the “Noob Gun”. It’s more point and click then Rockets, because it tracks.

That’s all well and good, but the tracking is so weak it can be beaten by strafing (which is awful in Reach) and won’t track unless the reticle is red. That, and it takes half a mag to kill someone with full shields as long as every shot lands, which generally doesn’t happen.
When you say buffed? You mean damage was increased or decreased?
Hopefully the lessened the clip or such. I used it in Reach and was always ashamed of myself. It was pretty easy to kill people with it since it like a heat seeker to its target.
in Halo 3, it only took 7 needles to supercombine. in reach, it only took 6, but since they would only combine when your shields were down, they rendered useless on their own. I think the Needler will be more like 3’s since we dont have a health bar again
> I think the Needler will be more like 3’s since we dont have a health bar again
Lost me there?
You mean no health bar in HUD? If so I’m ok with that.
