no halo 4 didn’t need a beta 343i knew what we wanted yes there are problems so what give them a break this is there first game they made stop whining and having a problem and post something in a nice manner with proof to back it up. they are right now looking into a bunch of things to improve the game so here what i can do to help you, one)stop playing altogether go play something else two)just wait for them to fix but keep playing… there a reason they have forums so us the players can help them improve the game for the better not for you own ego

no seriously, there was an in-house beta that had a NDA, that’s why you didn’t really hear about it.
don’t believe me? you could see, rarely and briefly, videos of H4 leaked on youtube (they would get pulled pretty quickly, but still).

They knew we wanted instant respawns? Weak vehicles. Join in progress search function. No dual wielding, instant flag pick up, no assault, team doubles, snipers, bolt shot and nade glitches. They knew we wanted no localised search feature?
What else did they know we wanted? I could go on all day lol

So randomly getting a Binary Rifle from your point streak is not luck, stuff like that is gamebreaking.

So you’re saying good players only get power weapons because of luck?

I would rather deal with them then deal with people like you who needlessly bash the game while offering no constructive criticism. If you are unhappy with elements of the game try to list them respectfully and maturely in a thread. People like you who only complain are what makes this forum nearly unbearable at times.

Seriously? Do you even know how much game developers can learn from a beta? Jeeze, look at Epic Games with their Gears 3: ater the beta: it was a very successful polished Gears. Halo 3’s beta made Halo 3 successful for what it is.
Without a beta: the full game will have lots of broken parts that’ll upset people, and nothing to learn from. That’s not what you want.
The game is leaps and bounds better than reach. It plays faster, rewards you for strafing and being accurate. Yes there are some problems that need fixing… Camo on btb with snipers is awful IMO. Instant respawns ruin some objective. IMO the game is going to be fine. Just give it time.
