I’ve quit matches before, but only because I had a reason, like places I had to go and things to eat. But in Halo 4, there’s been a lot of rage quits. For example, on SWAT CTF, the enemy scored once - we already had one point. Two of my allies quit. They scored again. We scored. Then we scored again because I escorted our carrier. Yep. 75% of rage quitters’ teams end up winning! You know who quits? The SR 50+. That’s right! The people who ALREADY HAVE SPECIALIZATIONS AND COMMENDATIONS!!! Did you know that when someone quits (like in CoD) your team divvies up your match bonus? If you’re the last Blue, you get a 1000 XP bonus for not quitting.
This is true for Halo 2 and 3 as well, not just 4. I’ve seen it happen more often on halo 2 than any other game. This is why the game needs join in progress, the old formula doesn’t work anymore.
I HATE the amount of dropouts you get online in this game! I was online for hours yesterday and only played 3 decent 4v4 games where no one dropped. It takes so much longer to rank up when your teammates are always quitting. If anybody wants to get some TS matchmaking going, let me know. It’s pretty much useless doing matchmaking without friends who won’t drop.

This is great, but am I the only one who didn’t knew that?

This is actually if you get a decent score, and not lose by a shutout or close to one.
