Hey Everyone,
Any ideas on what we the fans can do to help boost sales for halo? I just found out BO2 overtook halo in the pre order sales and it has ruined my day man. I mean im glad that cod is still going strong BCUZ its a good rival for halo to aspire to beat but i just want for once for us halo fans to be able to say IN UR FACE!!! lol no offence to fans of both (i play blops sometimes and its not bad) Anyways i kno most of these are dumb but i was thinking of a few ways we can do this…
Don’t buy BO2, borrow from a frend or whatever but dnt buy it.
Perhaps preorder the halo 4 limited edition AND wen it comes out nov 6 go and buy a second copy of the normal game. (if u can spare the cash i mean i was thinking ask ur parents or a rich uncle or something for the limited edition for christmas or bday perhaps???)
If u can get the halo 4 xbox - that thing looks awesome!!! or just a controller or something.
Keep talking halo - on twitter on fb no matter how dorky u come across.
any artists, designers, illustrators or whatever out there - lets see how good u are at halo stuff man get ur work out there… Just dnt do anything silly and break some cr laws
anyways im sure some of u got some really good suggestions and i wuld like 2 hear them/ read them.
Overall it was ahead anyways, that list has the numbers separated by platform. It overtook halo 4 on 360 pre orders, thats not counting PC and PS3. CoD will sell more its inevitable but Halo will always have something Cod doesn’t.
A campaign worth playing twice with a rich back story and a universe explorable through other media.

Put Halo on PS3 and Wii, and bring it back to the PC.
That is the ONLY way it’d ever be able to compete with Call of Duty, but we all know it’s not going to happen.
I agree with Metagenic, Halo will only ever beat CoD if it is brought to all of the consoles. Although Halo joining PS3 will never happen and I can only laugh at the idea of Halo on the Wii it could come back to the PC. Microsoft could easily do it considering that both CE and Halo2 are on PC already.
Halo could beat CoD in the Xbox charts if Forward Unto Dawn is a massive hit, which I doubt. Probably the best thing the fanbase can do now is just try to convince your friends to get it and spread word on popular websites such as Youtube, Tumbler and Facebook.
Let’s look at this hypothetical situation (very unlikely, but it gets my point across).
Halo 4 sells twice as much as Black Ops 2 on the Xbox 360. Black Ops 2 sells around the same amount of copies per platform, so we can give its sales on one platform the value x. Now in the end…
Halo 4 = 2x
Black Ops 2 = 4x
Even if H4 does outsell BO2 by a great margin on the Xbox (which it won’t, as of now), it’d still be meaningless.
