I’m curious to hear other people’s thoughts on the score that was in the background of the “Making Halo 4” ViDoc.
Personally, I think it’s one of the best compositions since the original song at the start menu of Halo:CE that we all know and love, as well as the signature Halo theme in-game that gave us a future, militaristic feeling.
It really kicks in around 0:51 in the video and gives a sort of adventurous feeling with an ominous tone. Great stuff, and I look forward to hearing more when we start to see additional trailers and footage in the coming months. I think they will definitely hit a chord in the sound department with this one since Reach’s score wasn’t the series’ best (Halo 2 had a great OST).
