Halo 4 Multiplayer: What It could be like? :3

Since Halo 4 is coming up, I thought it might be an idea to share my opinion on what the multiplayer should be like.

Loads of players have been trying to argue whether or not Halo 4 MP should be like Reach or Halo 3’s, Perhaps the answer is both?
What I mean by this, is to combine the unmatched balanced experience of Halo 3 AND the fantastic maps with the amount of customization in Reach. Perhaps a Halo 3 style MP with a improved EXP system, along side this, a Credit system which allows the player to customize. Throw in more team based challenges and commendations and you have yourself a recipe for a fantastic multiplayer.
If you are still confused about what I just said, An example of a game that did this is Black ops. I am NOT saying that Halo 4 should be like CoD, I am stating an example of what it could be like.
But lets think for a moment, How would you keep players coming back to play again and again? 1-50 level system perhaps, that’s the sense of accomplishment I want back for Halo, Sure reaching a new level in Reach was entertaining, but I didn’t feel accomplished, all I did was kill, kill, and Kill, nothing more. But in Halo 3, when I ranked up, I felt somewhat good about myself, I had played matches, completed the objectives and beat the other team >:)

Just my overall opinion, comment back and tell me what you think

I’m sure halo shouldn’t ever play like cod, reach was to close to the idea so it lost a major fan base. Though’s to titles will never share the same bedroom…lol!

But for me reach was pretty good over all!

Fantastic maps of Reach? Reach had some of the worst. All the maps that shipped with the game were terrible aside from Forge World.

to a point yeah…

I was supposed to say the fantastic Halo 3 maps, But I do agree, Reach’s maps were pretty bad

> Fantastic maps of Reach? Reach had some of the worst. All the maps that shipped with the game were terrible aside from Forge World.

He meant the balanced experience and fantastic maps of Halo 3. Yeah, he didn’t word it properly and it confused me at first too. :stuck_out_tongue:

Anyway, to comment on your leveling up system and customization system, I definitely agree. We should get credits for customization, but those credits would not go towards rank. If rank would work the same way as Halo 3, I’d be happy with that too. That way, we can have the best of both systems with none of the drawbacks that came with Reach’s credit system.

Making Halo 4 the first great Halo game in a long time is easy:

Step 1 - Fix all the glitches in Halo 2

Step 2 - Remove Dual Wield

Step 3 - Buff previously Dual Wield weapons to compete with main weapons

Step 4 - …

Step 5 - Profit.
