I think there should be a multiplayer tutorial on spawn trapping for the casual players. They’d learn how to set up a spawn trap and start spawn killing and also how to break a spawn trap.
The tutorial would use the campaign netcode so that they can play against AI (if the multiplayer maps are taken from the campaign this would be okay) and would use visual -Yoink!-, like hill markers to show them what points on the map they need to hold.
This tutorial would come under advanced training in a multiplayer training hopper. There would be basic training tutorials, detailing the guns and their ranges, highlighting advantageous positions (high ground as opposed to low ground, areas of cover), etc
There could be an achievement for completing all of the tutorials and maybe an armour unlock to give them that little extra incentive to learn more about the game.

If I ever saw any of my team-mates pull that sad–Yoink- piece of -Yoink- move, I’ll kill every-one of them!
I wholeheartedly applaud the idea of including tutorials aimed at educating new and casual players, but I’d rather they not be instructed in the intricacies of such underhanded tactics as spawn camping. We should be eliminating that sort of tactic from the game, not encouraging it.

Spawn trapping is an important part of Halo, it takes a lot of skill to implement. It encourages teams to work tactically to gain map control so as to force a spawn and gain an advantage for good teamwork.

Spawn trapping is implemented by a team of -Yoink- bags who use under-handed moves to unfairly win. If I was the only good guy on my team, and the rest were so -Yoink- we’d be trapped. I’d quit.
I feel you, spawn trapping is so annoying. I was spawn trapped in HLG 3v3 with MLG CTF players and I was the only good player and got a flag from the enemy, alone escaping from the spawn trap. -Yoink!- spawn camping. But I think that spawn trapping is a technique that can be used, I have no objection of any type of technique being used. Afterall if it doesn’t break any rules then why not? However I do not think it is smart for it to be instructed.

If your team has been spawn trapped then your team lost the fights over key areas of the map. The tutorial would highlight said areas with hill markers and help you to prevent/get out of spawn traps.
I sure hear a lot of whining… if case you checked the ratings, it was for adults, not for 10 year olds as a career. Just saying parents do you yoinking job.

Finally! You explained that in a way that didn’t make me think that you play too much CoD, and deliberately spawn kill just to get your K/D up.
If you get spawn killed, then you don’t have a good team in the first place. That makes much more sense.
