Create or bring back a comprehensive ranking structure that provides incentive to play the ranked playlist(s).
-
Bring back incentive to win games.
-
Do not include Loadouts (AAs), or anything that changes traits off-spawn, in Ranked gametypes.
-
If Armor Abilities return, make them have an obvious visual effect on the user, so others can clearly see which ability they have.
-
If Armor Abilities return, limit their use. If they must be re-useable, make it so the player must do so manually. Power cells on the map, recharge stations to fight over, something like that.
-
If Bloom is returning, give us an option to completely remove it, and do not include it in ranked play.
-
Give us individual weapon traits in Forge, so we may turn off bloom, adjust RoF, adjust damage, and any other options to play the game how we want to play it in Customs.
-
Custom. Games. Browser. Make it happen.
-
Take Firefight back to its roots. If you include Arcade Firefight, make it worth very little in terms of rewards, and instead provide incentive to play the Limited/Survival form of Firefight, which requires teamwork and skill.
-
Last but not least…Add any new features you like, but give us an option in Matchmaking to play without them, and play barebones Halo. This is something Reach did not do, and it drove away a significant amount of the old-school players.
-
Keep the overall ranking scheme like in Reach, but add playlist-specific numeric ranks as well. Like a hybrid H2/3-Reach system.
-
Give more credits to the winners, instead of the current system
-
No AA’s: make Sprint a standard feature for every player, turn Camo and Overshield back to classic style pick ups and only have Jetpacks return in certain maps/playlists.
-
No more Bloom, or at least implement it like in Reach at the moment: some lists with and some without Bloom.
-
No more pulled-out-of-campaign maps. Work together with Certain Affinity: they’ve shown multiple times how proper Halo maps should be (Defiant Mappack, Anniversary and work on H2 maps).
Claps
I would like old firefight to return, however, I was thinking of something that allowed you to buy territory, upgrade and repair weapons and vehicles, and a bunch of stuff that is on a long lost thread of mine.

That’s what it does.

Not enough. If I lose and get 1500-2000 Cr, or win and get 1500-2500 Cr doesn’t really make that much of a difference does it? Give winners at least 1000 Cr more than the losers so you get a better balance between what you earn for losing and winning.

Ant that is being generous. If you win you will get a “performance bonus” which is only 0-200 Cr. Or that is always what I get out of it.
Not really a “bonus” if you ask me.
You shouldn’t get any cR or EXP when you lose. I don’t think we have to worry about bloom being in Halo 4 because 343i said that it was just a cadence to slow kill times. The only thing I’m worried about is them adding sprint. Even if they give us playlists without it the maps would still be designed around it.
No AA’s in Matchmaking. Good ol’ -Yoink!- maps.
What’s this? You can go to Forge and add in load outs such as sprint?
Matchmaking - Make it -Yoink!- and amazing like it was in Halo 2/3
Custom Games - Through Forge give players the ultimate customizable experience.

Play social? It’s pretty much the same thing.
This is a wish list or a “I want” list, not a “To Do” list.
