Halo 4 Multiplayer: Laid Out?

Hey there,

This is my first Halo game since 2, so I’m new to the idea of customizable Spartans, loadouts, armor abilities, and so on. When I go to my Spartan Central (or whatever it’s called), I see progress bars with a bunch of numbers, but I’m not sure what they are tracking or what they indicate. Is there anywhere that this is all laid out, plain and simple, for newbies like me?
