halo 4 multiplayer is SO dam bad

ok now im not the best player out there but when i wus playing reach. on one ave game i’ll get like 10-15 kills a game in reach. but in halo 4 i get lucky to have 5 kills in one game. the hit box system doesnt work right. i cant even tell where i’m geting hit at most of the time and well i find out where im geting hit from im dead. even when im looking at the kill cam most of the time the person didnt even touch me . long story short the multiplayer is broken. 343 plz make it like reach…

I find the hit box to be spot on. Mabye you cant aim properly?

Aim for the top of the head. I’ve had one shot so many times but I put 3 in the chin and it does nothing. I found that aming at the forehead works better.

I also think it’s broken, but for different reasons lol

Is this a joke?

i laugh when people say “i based this assumption off of what i saw on my kill-cams”

but on topic, i find nothing wrong with the hitboxes
try working on your aiming a bit

I played Reach last night…first game went 15-4, something i would never be able to do in H4 unless i am playing against nubs.

Hello there,

I totally agree on this topic’s headline !

Just watch the player’s numbers decline by now ! Many long time Halo fans are disappointed that the game doesn’t cause any Halo flair except for the campaign.

Once Halo 4 was released I was damn pumped to finally play that game.
But I soon realized matchmaking is nothing but short of the quality and quantity considering its playlists.

Considering the fact I am a frequent Lone Wolves and Rumble Pit player I was really frustrated once I noticed that there wasn’t any FFA but the Regicide mode which in my point of view is very unfair because on maps like Haven or Adrift there is no point in gaining kill streaks if anybody can easily regain the lead the second he kills you.

Actually Halo 4’s matchmaking suffers from a whole lot of basic issues that are simply essential for a Halo experience:

First of all there is the game balance itself. Instant respawns create a quicker game however Halo always lived from a pace that is high but leaves the dominating team enough time to reload their shields while opponents are about to respawn.
Now, especially in FFA once I killed a foe he instantly respawns rushes at me again and most certainly wins the next encounter due to the fact I haven’t fully regained my shields yet.

Then Halo 4’s trouble is the weapon and powerup balance.
Regarding the ordnance drops again a dominating team in Halo 3 or Halo:Reach most likely wins a match when the team has got map control. However now an opponent might get a lucky comeback kill and within the next second he eventually gets a sniper rifle through his ordnance drop to kill a couple members of the dominating team.
Not to mention the simply frustrating bolt rifle that stopped the sword from being a power weapon. I stopped counting how often I had run at an opponent with my sword or even shotgun just to get hit by a creepy load of a bolt shot. If it didn’t make me cry I would probably have a good laugh about the ridiculousness.

Furthermore concerning the matchmaking system itself it is ridculous that I don’t even know anymore against whom I have just played since quitters will often be replaced and at the end of a game I see that my team of four or five dudes has actually played against overall ten to twelve foes. As a matter of fact I might play against “Ninja” or “Ogre2” and I wouldn’t even notice.
The consequences of anybody joining the game are even more severe:
I have often been in a lobby where the game started even though I have been alone against for opponents. The matchmaking considers I will eventually be joined by some other dudes sooner or later but before I was joined by some other dudes the opponent team simply destroyed me- really frustrating !

In addition being able to join a game when it is already being played causes me pain because if I don’t wanna do that I need to stay in the same lobby playing against the same guys every time again and again.
The possibility joining games that have already begun has also destroyed my interests concerning any stats which brings me to my last criticism:

The statistics ! Once concerning Halo 3 and Halo: Reach I was really interested in my stats and liked watching the stats whether it was the rise of my K/D average or the fact how many games I had won in my favourite playlist “Anniversary FFA” where I am among the TOP 30 !

Now, I regularly earn at least 40 medals after a game and the medals look pretty much the same so that I am no longer interested in those. Furthermore I am no longer interested in the games I had won because most of the games I have lost are unsurprisingly those I had joined when I was on the losing team and when I couldn’t turn things around anymore.

You see,

the game lags of its potential and I get a feeling why 343 didn’t want to give us a BETA version because they feared the game would disappoint the long time Halo fans.
As for me I am considering selling the game after all these disappointments.

I agree with every point that you made man. I am a true fan of Halo and I am so angry about this game. So angry in fact that I wrote an article about it entitled “Halo 4 makes me want to cry”. Check it out. I think you will enjoy it (whilst raging at the same time).
