just wondering if anyone knows if there will be challenges for halo4 the same as or similar to reach?

No one knows for sure as of now. I thought they were a cool addition, and wouldn’t mind them returning, but if they don’t, I wouldn’t be too upset, either.
kind of how i feel, but challenges using new gametypes and weapons would definitely be interesting to look at.
Just no more campaign challenges. LASO is a pain for three games in big team.
I would enjoy for them to come back. I loved doing the weekly challenges and seeing Those big payout of credits go into my Total amount of credits. I love the challenges that bungie made and it would be even better to see what 343 has in store if they brought challenges back.
I’m all in favor of daily/weekly challenges.
What I don’t want to see is custom challenges return.

I don’t mind the challenges but I don’t want to see the same ones contstantly being recycled.
