I think by bots they mean:
Adding them to your custom game lobby and practising on maps with them before you start multiplayer.

Bots for custom map testing sounds perfect!
As long as they’re not in actual mp.
Doubt they will have them.
If they have them in the same sense that Gears 3 does then it would be terrible.
Besides, a bot isn’t going to jump over a grenade that has been thrown, a bot isn’t going to drop a weapon so you can pick it up and a bot most definitely will not be able to drive a warthog.
343 shouldn’t be wasting time on stuff like THIS…
Not sure how I feel about Bot’s.
On one side if they are anything like gears 3 then they could be quite OP, for a casual player at least, then against the “Pro’s” they could be considered weak & taken advantage of is the other team is in-experienced.
Now if forge does exist in Halo 4 (please God !!!) & these are available to use in Forge / customs then I would consider then very useful, the Bots could help me test out any maps I make & see how the maps operates in general Vs gameplay

Worst case scenario = go into a lobby full of bots & get some of those pesky MM achievements…come on we all know there will be MM achievements which we cant stand haha
