Halo 4 MP Wishlist

So I know there are tons of threads asking for different things but I thought I’d take a different approach.

I want everyone to name their top 3 wishes for H4 Multiplayer (Only 3). I will constantly do my best to get on here and add everyone’s input to a list on the main post. Any time duplicates are posted I will add the number of times that suggestion has been used as well to keep track of the most popular ones.

Please keep this organized. Please keep it about multiplayer only. This is NOT a debate or discussion, simply a list that, if posts are kept simple, will be easy to maintain and provide good feedback for 343.

No Bloom - 7

Full Controller Mapping

More Armor Customization (Color wheel, new pieces, etc.) - 4

Forerunner Vehicles/Weapons

Flood Survival/Firefight - 4

Dual Wielding - 5

Faster Movement / Higher Jump Height - 2

Three things: Some of the Halo 3 maps that I loved (Valhalla, High Ground, The Pit, and a few others)
Definitely faster movement speed and higher jump height
Developers listening to the community on what we liked/didn’t like about the previous titles

And I’d like a beta where we can shape the game for the future!

Oh and different styles of Forge pieces (forerunner, human, Covenant) so not every single community map looks the same, for heaven’s sake!

Can you both narrow it down to 3 :slight_smile:

  1. AAs to be relooked at, correctly balanced, then added to H4.

I guess that could be it.

Skate 3-style Forge textures (change the theme and color of objects)

Balanced weapon sandbox that encourages variety

Kill times somewhere between 1.3 and 1.9 seconds for extra fun!

Bascially Halo 3.1?..

Or more accuratly Halo 2.2 since Halo 3 was just a copy of Halo 2’s gameplay haha.

SH Widowmaker, I suggest putting the suggestions up in the OP, along with how many people want that feature. If you want 343 to notice AT ALL, you’re going to need to make it easy for them to gauge what people are saying.

  1. Huge skill gap.

1.) A “Classic” Style Playlist

  • Similar to Halo: CE, 2 , and 3. No armor abilities, or anything new 343i plans to add. Basic weapons, good starting speed, etc.

2.) Better Forge

  • If 343i could include an actual map creator, as well as forge, that would be great. Far Cry 2 did a decent job.

3.) Good Netcode

  • Halo 2 had a meh netcode, it had modders, lag switchers, etc.
  • Halo 3 was better, but BTB lagged sometimes, etc.
  • Halo: Reach is excelent. If 343i can improve Reach’s netcode, that would be GREAT.

4.) Ranks

5.) Good, Varied Maps

  • Halo 2 had great, amazing maps
  • Halo 3 had acceptable maps
  • Reach’s selection is very poor.
  • Please ship with good maps! A good amount of symmetrical arena maps, a good amount of BTB maps, and one or two remakes.

(I know you said 3 but that is really all I hope for in Halo 4)

Edit: I also hope 343i plans on making Sprint a normal ability. IMO, it really makes the game play and feel better.

Mind picking 3. I feel like it’ll be easier to keep up with and will really show what’s the most important that people want

Something as groundbreaking as forge and theatre

No AA’s, just SPRINT

Bring back spike grenades or let us have 3 plasmas/frags each

Balanced weapons/dual welding

1:No AAs.
2:Pelicans, Phantoms and sparrowhawk.
3:Space map.
4:Sprint as default feature.
5:Flame-thrower and fire granade.
6:Maps more realistic.

It’s very hard to choose only 3 since all of them are great ideas but i think these are the ones i like most.

1.Ability to change forge pieces style/color (human, covenant, flood, forerunner).

2.Dual Wielding.

3.Popular maps from previous Halo games.

And one thing that you didn’t mention that i think would be great is a colour wheel for armour.

If I have to narrow it down to 3:

No AAs

have to add in a 4th: No bloom
And 5th: BR back
