Halo 4 Mission Forerunner problem (Saga Playlist)

I’ve gotten to the mission Forerunner in the Master Chief Saga Playlist but I can’t complete the mission. Once I get to the “Satellite” to start the cutscene it instead goes to a black screen and then the game closes or just stays at a black screen. I’ve tried closing the game and restarting, turning off the console (completely not standby), and even save/quitting and resuming just before the scene. It’s the same result every time.

Anyone else having this problem?

Edit: Saving and quitting doesn’t even save the progress. I start right back at the beginning. This makes six time I’ve tried to beat the mission.

Edit 2: Just tried a speedrun on Easy instead of the playlist. Same result.

I managed to fix the issue. What I did was I uninstalled the game (deleted in my case since it was a digital purchase) and then reinstalled it. I then tried the map once again on easy and this time I was able to play all the way through no issues.

My best guess is that some of the data got corrupted during one of the patches or maybe even back when I pre-loaded the game.

If anyone is having similar issues then this might fix it for them as well.

Still bummer that I have to re-download the whole thing. Maybe Microsoft should consider adding a repair option like on PC games for instances like this.
