I don’t know if anyone will agree with me but I am so angry that the only Halo game I want to play online is Halo 4 on the Xbox one and it is missing from the match making options.
Plus that gets me started on a different issue the match making options are crap I don’t want to get maps from Halo 1, 2, 3 or 4 for Big Team Battle’s I just want to be able to play maps from Halo 4 and that goes for the rest of the match making options. You should just be able to select the Halo game you want to play online with not be made to play on Halo maps from all four games.
I hope they will bring a update to fix that as well.
They said they will bring all playlists back once they fix matchmaking. They said the reason they removed certain playlists was to have more players in the more popular playlists to help people find games faster. You can at least still get into a Halo 4 game through the big team battle playlist for now.
Yeah this is a total joke, they have a playlist for every other game than Halo 4. They even went as far as to add another game for Halo 2, rumble pit, before even one dedicated playlist for Halo 4… They seriously have failed with this launch

that’s because halo 4 only had about 10k players online/day at the end of the first year. compare that to halo 2 and 3 and it was over a million/day for those games. that’s why you don’t see halo 4 now, because no one wants to play it.
Most who purchased this collection did not do it to spend most of their time on Halo 4, and it showed. When it was time to scrap, it got scrapped. Halo 4 is still in Big Team for now.

I like Halo 4 online and so do a lot of people. I understand if you don’t and that’s fine but we were told all 4 Halo games and their respective multiplayer intact!
We didn’t get what was promised, not even close. I don’t mind playing the mix and match playlists with the other Halo games either, that will be fun but sometimes I just want to play the game I want to play and this, you will play Halo the way we want you to attitude kind of stinks. Even if this thing was working as intended I would still only have a small percentage chance of getting the game type I want if I’m in the mood for Big Team Infinity Slayer in Halo 4. The mix and match is nice but sometimes I just want to play what I feel like playing.,

I actually can’t. Getting into a big team game just isn’t working for me. When it does I’ll certainly play but sometimes I just want to play the Halo game that I want to play and their playlists won’t allow me to do that.

I agree!
Once they get this thing working we’re going to have to be very loud if we want to get their attention. I don’t think Halo 4 players are going to get a lot of attention from 343i, event though they made the game.
I like to choose what I play, like I said before the mix and match things is ok but when I’m in the mood for a big team game on Halo 4 I should just be able to choose that from matchmaking and play with other people who feel the same way.
I’m pretty annoyed that if I want to play a game of Halo 4 I have to go back to my 360. I have to hook up my headphones to the console and I have to open the ports on the router, it’s a pain and after paying 69 + tax for the game I’m kind of annoyed that I need to do this.

I understand that we’re not in the majority but we were told that it would be all 4 Halo games with their multiplayer in tact and that’s not exactly what we’re getting. And while we’re not in the majority there are still more than enough players that feel the same way I do to support us playing the game we want to play in matchmaking.
I shouldn’t have to go back to my 360 to play the Halo game I want after paying for this compilation.
Hopefully they will add the Halo 4 playlists but I guess that won’t be any time soon given the mountain of issues they still have to contend with.
H4 was a playlist when it released. they cut the playlists in half when the match making problems started. once they get the fixes finished, your H4 playlist will be back. you’ll be able to use your camo sniper in the back of the map soon enough my friend. lol

Clearly I want to play it, along with many others including the person who made this thread, so that’s a pretty invalid point. Regardless of how many people want it, and what your (and only your) personal opinion is on the game itself, it is part of the promised content that falls under Halo 4. It’s a serious flaw in the the matchmaking playlists available, we should have at least just one playlist for those of us who paid to play Halo 4 as well as the other games.
Guys, Halo 4 was a playlist when they first released the game, but in order to help matchmaking work better, they removed playlists that the fewest people were playing. Clearly Halo 4 was one of those. It will be back when they get the game fixed, but as much as it sucks for H4 players, they had to keep the majority of their fans happy, which meant keeping the playlists with the most people playing it.
All I really want is away from halo 4 or 3 or 2 but still I hate the other halo games for this reason I’m half temped to go by halo 4 and play that way
