Halo 4 missing emblems from previous games

Who else is annoyed that the emblem they have used in previous Halo games, hasn’t been included in Halo 4?

I honestly see no reason why 343 needed to remove them. If anything, it’s a kick in the teeth to the hardcore Halo fans.

I miss the aleph one/marathon emblem from 2. It reminded me of good times in Marathon.

I’d like 343 to at least explain why many emblems are missing from Halo 4. Some players have had the same emblem since the Halo 2 days and although it might not seem like a big deal, I’d argue that they are (at least to me) as important as your gamertag, if not more due to the fact they are unique to Halo.

I think the numbers 0-9 and playing card suit symbols should have at least been included.
