Halo 4 has been awesome through story to mutliplayer but one thing ive knotice that killed halo for me which ive bought every special and limited edition item for halo as one of the biggest halo fans my favorite things about halo was removed. Which is normal for halo being they removed the Machine gun and other weapons in the past but not a playable race!?!
-Playable Elites
Now i love Elites they are scary looking, Unusual and when i play halo i get to be this preditor looking creature with freaky teeth and just one thing you dont want to get in a fight with… i loved halo reach’s style of elites being only allowed in customs i was fine with that because in matchmaking Elites had a odd box shape making it a little odd for elites to be there so crunching them down in size or hunching them hardcore was horrible in halo 3, I Expecially loved Invasion gametype and Elites vs Spartans custom games. All my friends and i were expecting elites to be avaliable and playable and our hopes maybe even promethian knights which if elites were replaced with knights i would have been cool with that. Halo 2 Blew my mind playing as Elites ever since then i only played elites with friends i even changed my other gamertag to PyreFearedElite. Moment Elites were Removed and i played halo 4 after going to midnight release setting up my new xbox and downloading special edition and xbox features i felt ripped off. My biggest love for halo was the Scary monster i could play and scare people with in custom games as i played in stealth. Whos gonna scream when a Spartan pops in your face… no one. My best friend passed away October waiting to play this game and i felt glad she didnt because she would have been upset aswell. We had a clan devided into groups Spartans vs Elites huge community that loved Darkfall and our other gametypes and they would always know even though i was Inheriter id play an elite. In halo 3 I played an Elite, In halo 2 i played an elite. Removing elites just broke my heart and killed my halo ambition i havnt touch my xbox since i am rank 71 in Halo 4 and i love its multiplayer and story but no elites i cant play it i dont feel the want to play it because i cant make anything in custom games for elites vs humans now its always humans vs humans it dont feel like halo anymore it feels like spartans vs spartans. Halo 1 did great without Elites but when they were Introduced in Halo 2 it was a shocker!
Human Flying Vehicle,
Now i was upset about elites but i figured at least the space map exists maybe i can make a pillar of autumn and have Covenant (aka spartans) flying in bashees and take down the new human or old human flying ship in space wars. BUT NO ITS NOT THERE EITHER NO MORE Vehicle battles because the maps are way too small for two bases to be seperated and have even land wars because human have Mantis and Scorpion and Covenant have a Banshee that flys alot like halo 3s crapy banshee and breaks easier then halo Reach. Now i can understand Nerfing banshees speed on using barrel rolls but making it so bulky its almost impossible to get away from anything and being destroyed easy is not a good thing i dont even want to use banshee anymore because its a suicide mission kill someone or get lucky on a spree but if you take any shots consider yourself gone. unless you have a lucky moment.
Map Layout
Considering i love some of the new maps why is every map OUTDOORS? what happened to indoor buildings and close range maps theres only 2 maps Close Range and one of them is outdoors. I like the maps but i loved halo 1-Reachs maps due to their simple layout that i can recreate now in halo 4, But every single map in halo 4 is impossible to remake other then First two maps ever showcased but every other map is just rocks, more rocks, dirt, some snow, little grass, metal building, metal building. Dont get me wrong they are good maps but every map has same basic idea. Different maps with different designs looks and something more different themed is what makes it better. Halo reach did something odd which was Reflection a Chinese building that was cool and in halo 2 it was a Fancy building, Then your suddenly in boardwalk looks like a normal civilization in halos background. Next your at Swordbase with its mystical look of UNSC TOP SECRET office building for sientists. Halo 3 a Ancient ruins looks like something abandoned in Africa. Halo 3 a Desert map with old ruins! NEXT I want to say there is no BIG MAPS Tanks vs Tanks
obviously theres not gonna be any Flying Vehicle wars other then banshees and banshees that fly like crap. Honestly im not saying the maps are bad but maybe add more different themed maps because one map is a junk yard next is a crash site, next is a facility next is a snowy/dirt outdoor map, then another snowy/dirt outdoor map Not really any close or Huge maps and each map just is basically Outdoors with Random building placements that are kinda odd and random odd junk that really im not sure what is there for. honestly i think as mappacks come im sure they will get better but why not add custom maps you guys make or people make. another final thing i can say about maps maybe DLC Forge with Covenant textures and Covenant Race and Flyable Falcon and Invasion mode???
