Does anyone remember the Halo 4 gametype that allowed players to play as miniature spartans. This was playable only through matchmaking, it wasn’t anything that came standard with the game. It was a lot of fun back in the day, especially when you was the miniature spartan making an assassination on a regular sized spartan.
I remember this, was very funny to play. There was a similar thing in Reach, great game modes.

I don’t think that 343i would’ve allowed a modded gametype to appear in Matchmaking, but I do remember it being a thing.
Didn’t this mod start in Halo 2? I remember seeing it in a Rippon montage.
First time I’m hearing about this and it sounds awesome haha. I looked it up though and it seems like it was a modded gametype and/or a glitch. I’m not trying to be smart by posting a link to Google. The first result pointing to a post on Waypoint has a couple of comments addressing it as such. However, upon clicking the link to Waypoint, I’m redirected to a dead-end page so I thought I’d post the Google search which provides a preview. Apparently, mini enemies was a thing in Spartan Ops too.
To be honest it wasn’t my favourite mode but will admit it was cute & funny seeing tiny Spartans with big guns and when they die the body would stretch
It was a fun gametype. It was a little frustrating at times, but fun too XD
Yes, I do remember a mode being up in the matchmaking where the spartan models were smaller in scale. It was called “Birthday Fiesta.” 343 Industries created it to celebrate Halo 4’s birthday. You would be automatically be colored purple and green, spawn with random weapons as the traditional Fiesta mode was known for, and whenever you died or got killed the Birthday Party armor affect from Halo Reach would be enabled. I have the mode downloaded from a while back when they had it, probably from temporary history in the file browser when I most recently played it. It’s pretty fun and unique for a Halo mode, considering how it was a mod 343 made themselves. I know there are mods on the file browser that allow you to change the scale of the players. You can be as tiny as an ant, or as giant as a skyscraper.
