Actually, it’s not.
Secondly, while a good amount of those are true, I just don’t find most of them funny. The only one I actually laughed out loud at was the RvB quote “Buttons?! Oh man, I love buttons!!!”
Anyone remember the time when “meme” meant “innocuous phrase or image that becomes its own joke through viral means,” instead of “dumb picture with dumb caption in Impact font”? Those were the days.
Oh wait, I have to go along with the trends now. My contribution:
“duuuuuude such a funny le epic maymay xDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDD”

The Internet sucks now. It’s not funny or original and everyone wants attention.

Thank you. I think it’s just because that was the format the most popular memes were in, like the Advice Animal image macros. I dunno, I just miss the time the internet wasn’t so homogenized. Even the jokes are identical. If not in subject matter, in format. Which is probably worse.
To make this on-topic: “u mad bro xDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDD”

I agree. A few of them were pretty funny, but most of them were just dumb.
Also, how are these even memes if nobody’s seen them before?
