Halo 4 Melees

So the melee has been different in every halo game, and its always being fixed for every new halo game. So I decided to use my imagination and say… what if we can adjust our own melee’s in halo 4. Lets say the standard melee does 25% damage, and you can change yours to 50% or 75% by sacrificing one of your “perks” or what ever. It would help the noobs and the veterans IMO. But this could be hard to strategize. Just throwing this out there.

I really don’t like the idea of “sacrificing” perks for higher melee damage.
I’d prefer the H2 system where you did different damage depending on your momentum.

I don’t know. It might not be a good idea to encourage the use of melee as a primary.

I don’t think one person should be able to have a deadlier melee than another because then they have the advantage close quarters all the time

As soon as perks start changing damage/health I’m out.

I personally liked Anniversary’s 3-melee-kill setup.

…50 to 75 percent melee damage…Maybe you should play fighting games instead of shooters.

Melee should be an asset, not a weapon on it’s own. 3 melees to kill and bleedthrough is perfect. 343 should look to Halo CE or the Reach classic playlist for melee strength, and add bleedthrough to eliminated herp-a-derping.
